40% off deluxe during Value???

Do they ever offer a 40% off discount in January or February for a deluxe?? I would like to take DD down and do DlxDP. I think it would be great to stay at Poly or Cont if we were doing deluxe though. Don't think I could swing rack rate though without a discount. Would like to go during a slower time of year and cooler time of year, so though early February would be nice. Is there any chance of there being an open offer, Disney Visa offer or possibly a pin. If not I will be waiting to see if we can get free dining and stay at a Mod and then maybe just upgrade to deluxe dining. ARGGGGHHHHH I really want to start planning this trip, but there is just way to much up in the air!

Chances are there will be some discounts offered, but they probably won't put the offers out for a few months yet...Jan & Feb are slow months at Disney (especially January when it can be very cool temps...we've been there when the high for the day was 48 F.) They have done some pretty decent discounts in January & February in previous years (not on MLK Jr 3-day weekend, not on Presidents Day 3-day weekend though)

This link doesn't say exactly what the offer was, and unfortunately I can't remember what the actual % off was, but we have stayed deluxe twice in January in the last 3 years (January) and had really good discounts...I think it's quite possible it was 40% off, because there's no way we'd stay deluxe without a huge discount. Once when we stayed it was a general public discount, the other time it was an annual passholder discount (but there was also a general public discount going too)

We got a 42% discount off of deluxe club level this past January for AP holders. I'm pretty sure there was a public code for 40% off at the same time.

We got the buy4 get 3 deal last January ..it allowed us to book the beach club. Great trip, great resort! I think it worked out to 40% off?

It is cold in january and parks close early (rehabs too) but to us it was worth it to have low crowds and a great discount!
