%40 off and free dining?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. For those of us who were lucky enough to book with the %40 off code, if they announce free dinning will we be able to keep our rates and still participate in the free dining? I was wondering about that March 15 date that came with the offer. Just curoius how this might work?

Free dining is usually not available with any other discount. So you'd have to give up the discount on the room to go for the free dining.

You would have to pick one deal or the other, If the Free Dining deal works out to save more money then you could switch to that package. no they won't leave your rooms at 40% off and then deduct the cost of the dining from your package.

Has FREE Dining been announced ?? I thought that usually gets announced at the end of March beginning of April ??

I did get a pin code in the mail but it was for dates we were not planning on going so I threw it out.

If we return this year it would be during free dining, if and when they offer it.

Thanks guys. I figured that they would not let me have both. The room discount for us is a much better deal. I wonder if this deal means that they will not offer free dinning? HHHHHHHHMMMMM, just thinking.

Last Sat., we booked our trip for mid-Sept and we did use the "code". When making the res we asked the CM if Free Dining were to be offered again could we apply that to our res. She said "absolutely." I specifically asked if we could use both discounts and she said, YES! I was surprised and I am still unsure but I thought that since it is a code that would have a pin # attached perhaps you could use both. I highly doubt it but we'll see.

I am definitely hoping for free dining.

Keep in minding depending on your resort selection and who is in your party, this is better than free dining for many (ie 2 adults at a deluxe)

I am quite confident the CM you spoke to is wrong.

You can have THIS code or the FREE DINING code. You will not be able to have both.

Plan accordingly and then if I'm wrong.. at least you didn't count on something you might not get.

The email I received had the following language..

"The number of rooms available at this savings is limited. Savings based on non-discounted price for the same room. Additional per-adult charges apply if more than two adults per room. No group rates or other discounts apply. Offer is nontransferable. Advance reservations required."

You spoke with a misinformed CM. You won't get both.

There is no "double-dipping" on discounts.... you'll have to choose which one is more of a savings and go with that one..... Good luck!!!

You will not see a 40% discount on rooms and Free Dining. It doesn't make good business sense. One or the other, but not both.

all,
i just got off the phone placing my deposit for sept, the CM that I spoke to said that if there is free dining I will be able to call and they will be able to adjust my reservation. I don't know if she is wrong or not, but that is what I was just told, I can always hope! As i said before I am happy with the deal I have now, but I can always use more off. i guess we will just have to wait and see.
