40% Off AND Free Dining PIN - Really???

Sorry for sticking my nose in, but could it be 40% off just the room rate and not the tickets? And free dining? Would that make sense? My understanding of the 40% off was that it was just for the room and not the tickets. But I absolutely could be mistaken. I am just trying to understand myself (and of course hope that we all could get both discounts!) If the double discount fairy could really come I would lose my mind!!!!

It is just off the room. Disney never offers discounts for its tickets so I didn't discount anything but the room.

ETA: The "new pricing" I talked about in my post was because of the higher ticket prices instituted on August 2. Sorry I wasn't more clear about that.

I also ran her numbers. 10 nights at a moderate came to almost $1900, park hoppers for 9 days came to $600 and change. 40% off the $1900 came to $1400 with tickets, figure back to the $2100. I did not include dining in my numbers and she has dining in her package. I didn't think it was possible either, otherwise I would not have gone through the trouble.

This is free dining and the 40% off. Me and DH are staying at CSR as well in Dec had the 40% off then got free dining and had to switch we couldn't use both. So now we have 11 nights for the 2 of us with free dining and our package is $2400. We just got 7 day base tickets and not the park hoppers.

I am quoting myself on this because I realized my last post was misleading... The "it is just off the room" meant it was 40% just off the cost of the room and not the tickets.

I agree that the OP got the room discount and free dining. Lucky person!

edited. well you guys beat me to it, i didn't read all the posts. wow even after the numbers were ran she is getting a great deal. i'm still in total disbeleif but thats awesome for your friends. Maybe they got an early offer of the big deal that is coming out tomorrow.
