T minus 40 days to go before we head out for our 4th trip, and my DS ( 3 1/2) first trip. I have been planning this trip since our last trip in 2003. Well, truth be told, I have planned about 4 or 5 trips since then, just life happened and those were put on hold. Now this one is paid for and we are excited.
My plan is to drive down this trip. Here are my pre-trip plans:
Leave home at 1:00 in the afternoon on June 30th.
Hit Birmingham, Alabama at 4:00.
Head south thru Alabama until I arrive in Tallahassee via Dothan Ala., and Bainbridge, Ga. around midnight or a little after.
That puts me 4 hours from WDW.
The plan is to be there by 10 am on July 1st.
Has anyone ever driven from Birmingham? Is there a quicker way from there?
The family has to do Epcot 1st. Kind of a family tradition on our other 3 trips. Ride Spaceship Earth 1st, then just kind of wing it after that.
I do have a reservation for Via Napoli that night. Has anyone eaten there yet?
would love to hear from some of you.
