I got the code for 2 rooms, at ASMo 9/24-10/4. We did the MYW package with park hoppers and dining. I wanted to add an 11th night (no additional dining or tickets). Travel agent said I couldn't do it -- it has to be booked as a separate reservation because it is more than 10 nights. Does this sound right?

No.. It does not. My understanding is that you can book dining for 14 nights this year. Ask her to check and double check.. because the information you've got says 14 nights is the max (to have it be part of the same reservation it would have to include dining).

Tickets max out at 10 days anyway.

Good luck!

I don't believe that you can add to the 40% off code now because that code has expired. Anyone else?

Thanks for your input. I'll start by calling Disney myself (not the TA) and asking if I can book for 11 days with dining during my timeframe. If the answer if yes, then I'll deal with the code issue and the TA.

I don't even really care so much if I can't get the code for that last night -- I just don't want 2 reservations. With 2 reservations, that means that I could be made to pack up on our next to last day and switch rooms. That would be a nightmare!

I got 14 nights with the 40% off room rate. Hopefully you can add it!

123 - Your TA will probably need to ask Guest Services to see if they can add that night to your existing reservation.. since the booking period for that code has passed.

And even then.. there may not be any availability under that code.. in which case yes, you would have to make a separate reservation at the full rack rate.

We booked 2 rooms at POP for August with the 40% code. 3 weeks ago we decided to extend our stay by one night. I called and they had availability. The CM put me on hold for about 20 minutes and then said everything is fine. I just received an updated invoice. So I was able to add an extra night with the code.

I hope you get the day added to the current reservations but I wouldn't worry much if you can't. I have had 2 reservations on a couple occasions (booking days with different discounts because of availability) and have never had to move. You make sure that they link the 2 reservations and mention the 2 when you check in. They will tell you the will do everything they can to keep you in the same room but cant guarantee it. But I have never had to move and know others that haven't either. You will have to go to the front desk the day the first reservations ends and check out and back in. They will give you new cards for the last day. But that’s not much of a hassle.

The OP said "no additional dining and tickets", which would have to be a second reservation. It's not a package like the rest of her reservation so it's not an add on. Even if you couldn't get the 40% off... I'd still try for some other discount, like maybe AAA?

But as one poster said.. I wouldn't worry about having to change rooms. If you tell them upon checkin, I'm sure they'll be able to keep you in the same room. I believe you do officially have to check out then check in again.

Agree with Anc96. To me that indicated the OP wanted a room only. So that is why two reservations. The package already in place; and then the room only for one night. The package is WDTC. The room only is CRO.

I did say no additional dining or tickets. I would love an additional day of dining but I don't need more tickets. I was thinking no more tickets because -- and PLEASE correct me if this is wrong -- I didn't think I could get 11 days of tickets without splitting it into 2. That is, a 7day ticket and a 4 day ticket. Did it change? I thought that the difference between a 9 day ticket and a 10 day ticket is minimal, but the difference between 10 and 11 is significant.

Okay that is long winded and not very clear. How about this, ignore the code for now, can I make a reservation for 11 nights, with dining for 11 nights, with a 10 day park hopper ticket?

The number of days your park ticket is for does not have to match the number of nights your stay is. The number of nights and your dining plan must match though.
People who have APs (like me) will often do a package with the dining plan, both the number of nights of the stay and the days the plan is for will match, but only purchase a 1 day base ticket. That ticket can be saved to upgrade into another park ticket with more days, or an AP, anytime in the future if it's not needed.

You can just get the 10 park hopper ticket if that's all you want.
