I am super excited to report that I have booked a room at POP for September 2013:cool1::cool1: The last time we were at Disney was 4 years ago to celebrate the kids 5 birthday. It was a wonderful trip. We all have fantastic memories about that trip. We stayed at Windsor Hills in a townhouse for the week and then stayed 1 night at POP. I didn't really enjoy the onsite experience then because we were dealing with a double stroller and lots of stuff. Staying onsite was a gift from my DH since we decided to not attend the Christmas party. I have however been dreaming about staying inside the Disney bubble. pixiedust: I think that since we don't have the strollers, car seats, etc. that the room won't seem so small. I realized last time that we do not spend a lot of time in the room. The most important lesson I have learned on the Dis is ROPE DROP so I don't think we'll be hanging around the room :p So, my plans definitely depend on if we are able to get fd or if we will be paying for all meals out of pocket. I can't wait to start planning ::yes:: And did I mention we are keeping it a SURPISE from the kids!! They ask about going back to Disney at least once per week. Today Jeffery said "why is everything for Disney so expensive? Oh yeah because its awesome" I can't wait to see his face when he's told we are going:lovestruc OK, I think that is it for now.

So, since we are going during a time that has historically had free dining but it is not guaranteed, I am going to have to create 2 plans. Well, at least 2 ;) So, I will use this PTR as a way to think through my plans and pass the time so my head doesn't explode :scared1: Can anyone relate? So, who is going on this wonderful trip? This is our picture from 4 years ago.

I wanted to share the picture from 4 years ago because once you see a more recent picture of the kids I think you see how much they have grown.:) So on this trip will be me, Dawn - I love all things Disney and really wish we were able to go more often. My favorite movie is the Lion King and I'm not sure I have a fave ride. My DH, is Jeff and while he probably won't ever recommend a WDW trip, he is all for it once its in the plans. He loves adventure and understands the meaning of rope drop:thumbsup2 Not sure if he has a favorite movie but he fell in love the Tower of Terror on the last trip. Next up is princess Jocelyn. Loves all things princess and even at age 8 believes in magic. She is a true girly, girl down to the pink walls in her room:lovestruc Rounding out our foursome is the other twin, Jeffery and he is a boy who loves action figures, running, and has just found the Avengers. If we end up with a side trip to Universal it will likely be for him :goodvibes This picture is from our birthday trip to the Natural Bridge and Caverns in San Antonio, TX last November.

Well my first set of plans will be for us without a dining plan. I have determined that if we need to do a low budget eating plan for our time at WDW that won't kill us ;) However, it would be awesome if we were able to get the FD as that would allow for some cool character meal and food options. But for now, let's focus on the no FD plans :) We are going to arrive on Monday, September 16th. We could come in on Tuesday if necessary as I find that sometimes the price difference in flights traveling on a Tuesday can be significant. Unless some other airline has an awesome deal we will likely fly in on Southwest. I just hate the idea of paying for a checked bag. There are 4 of us which means at least 1 big checked bag  We are currently reserved at POP which will be our first real stay on the Disney property. I know the space is tight so I will have to fight the urge to overpack  OK, so arrive Monday late afternoon, early evening, hop the ME and then ??? I imagine if the weather is nice my kids will want to eat or swim or both. I was originally thinking we could head to DTD for dinner, I have been dreaming about going back to WPE or we could just relax, settle in, and swim. I think it will probably be the latter :thumbsup2
