Could someone move this over to the disabilities board. I posted on the wrong board trying to multitask too much today! THX!

Which type of scooter would you recommend for a person who has never used one. DH must use one this trip and I need to get a ressie made. I think a 4 wheeled scooter would be more stable but is it cumbersome to maneuver? A 3-wheeled one looks like it would tip over; I'm sure they are quite safe but they don't "look" as stable. AND, like I said he is a new user!

I have used many over the years and have rented off-site at WDW before and I have no idea if they had 3 or 4 wheels! I need to notice things like that! I would suggest he try them out at places like Target and the grocery before you leave and see which ones they use and if he is comfortable with them.

Just about all of the rental ECVs are three wheel, other than the ones Disney uses. They are much easier to maneuver. Unless you are doing something stupid, such as trying to make a right angle turn while at maximum speed, they are very stable.
