anyone who says the shows were "awful" clearly is not a fan of Disney. Even if you just said they were ok...that might be a valid opinion, but awful? I don't think so.
The other comments talking about lines for the characters being "awful" gets me even more, especially with the further comments about going to WDW. If you think the lines are long on
DCL for characters, I don't understand how you can find WDW acceptable.
Navigating the Dream and the crowds are no different than navigating the theme parks. Do things when others AREN'T!!
Going to Dinner deck 4 forward? use the aft elevators.
Show just got out? use the opposite or mid ship elevators, not the same ones everyone else is trying to use!
Wanna ride the water coaster? The day at sea is not the day to do it.
I went on the Dream last March when it was A) extremely new and B) I had my 80yo grandma to push around in a wheelchair and never had a problem with crowds. It's not Disney's fault you're choosing to be part of the cattle herd instead of being the smarter cow.
If people don't like it, that's fine, but it bugs me seeing comments which are unwarranted or the result of poor planning. That's fine, go to WDW where they have flat attendance, raise prices, then brag about a 10% increase in revenue while nickel and dime-ing you to death. I'll be on Deck 12 sipping my martini with service WDW only wishes it could provide.
