We love Indy!!! Before the refurb it seemed like every time my DH would go to get on it would break down on him so he'd either have to wait to get off till they got them to the station (he was always about 2 cars away from it, with it stopping numerous times through out the whole ride) or would be just getting ready to get on. He didn't have that problem over New Year's though so he really enjoyed the ride like your supposed to. The funny thing too is we do single rider since the kids are too short so I'd always go first then he'd go and I wouldn't have problems and he would.

I hate packing so I always tend to put it off until the last minute so I'm proud of myself with everything I have done already. Thank you!! We're leaving around 12:30 tomorrow!! Will be in the park on Saturday!!! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures and let you know what Sarah thought of Fantasy Faire. Oh and I also read something about the new show starting on the 25th so we'll have to make sure we check that out!!!

Yes, I found out the hard way the PotC ride in Disneyland has two drops. I was much younger then and we had no idea the PotC would be any different there. Boy were we wrong... Never again...

I have heard it is the better ride though, my stomach just can't agree with that. Not sure whether I could do RSR or not... I should watch the video again.

Yes, sparkly costumes are a must!

PoTC is much better at DL....love going through the bayou first and the area after the drops! RSP is very smooth riding so I'd think you could do it!

Anyhoo -- the entire trip looked fabulous. I've only been to DL once and it appears that it has changed immensely! It was about 17 years ago or so (so I must have been a wee child ).

Wow, you got snow! There has been some crazy weather around. My sister was hit with a big snow storm. But here it's acualy warmer today (-12C so 10? F better than the -30C/-22F it has been lately) , and nice and sunny.

Hope Megan feels better soon! I am having a significant birthday this year and was joking to a friend about saying I'm 29...she told me I should say 33...no one would question a number like 33 when they will 29.

Lisa only THINKS she knows my age...she would be surprised if she really knew. I learned a LONG time ago to not tell everything I know...didn't I Lisa....I always like to see who can keep my secrets ...and who can't ...which is why I often keep things "close to the vest." That is my final word on my age. Think what you will. Christian is 22 and I was a very young Mom.

Praying Megan is having a great time at her party and her thumb is feeling well also. I am so excited about your next trip for Megan's birthday. I know I already told you, but Megan looked GORGEOUS at her Dance Performance at DL...I am so proud of her!

Ah, so that's how it works, lol.

thanks for all the for Megan...its worked and she had a great time at her party! after a warm shower and some meds she was feeling much better....did good with the you know what's....but decided she doesn't want to use them anytime soon...will keep them for swimming purposes only!

a couple of her friends weren't able to make the party, which in hindsight was better...the girls all got along and had fun together! mom had us over for pizza afterwards with my brothers and their family! I will get some photos posted in the next couple days.

laying low this morning, got laundry going and packing later on and a quick once over on the house!
