4 Trips + 1 Premier AP = Priceless Memories ~ WDW Plans posted!

Looks like a very fun filled birthday trip plan!!

I feel your pain about photobucket - I don't like the 'new' photobucket either.

that's the plan Tracy :thumbsup2 we love doing new things in the parks!
me either...looks like they did add the "page #" back at the bottom, but then I couldn't copy/paste anything...going to try again this afternoon!

:wave2: I finally made it over. Never mind that it's way past my bedtime! Love seeing all the great pics :) It looks like you all had loads of fun.

:wave2: Andrea...boy you were up late! we had such a great time, especially knowing what it meant for Kris and family to be able to spend 3 days there and all the pixiedust: showered on them :goodvibes

I love seeing all your pics. You did a lot that first day!! The kids loved looking at them too and they are getting so excited to be going to DW in a couple months! I love the drawings too, great job! How fun to be going back to DL to celebrate Megan's birthday!

Jackie

:wave2: Jackie, happy the kids are enjoying the pics too! Trev's MAW trip will be here before you know it :goodvibes:goodvibes
you have to bring the kids to Animators at DHS its so fun and you can keep your drawings!
can't wait to celebrate my girl :goodvibes

Exactly!! That's why I like where I'm at now. Only about a 30 min drive to SF on a good no traffic day (which are few and far between)!! It is great to know he fullfilled his dream. I'm sure it's still hard to deal with but you are loved by a lot here who just want the best for all of you!!!

Yeah that was the consensus of the group that we'd be thrown out and now we can't have that!!! We did the tour back in June 06 (during the 50th anniversary) and we got to have lunch on the balcony of what is now the Dream Suite. Still miss the gallery being up there though. :sad2: I'd love to do it again but first I've got to get an adults weekend or someone to come with us to watch the kids so we can do it. They are too young and just wouldn't appreciate it yet.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sandra...good traffic in SF, didn't know that existed :rotfl::rotfl:
when I met Jim in 1993 he was talking about having his own company, took 14 years, but he did it! and I was so proud of him :goodvibes I know we have great support here from our "family in the box" and been so blessed to meet so many IRL !!!

nope you never want to be "those people" :rotfl2::rotfl2:
weird, but we never went up to the gallery :confused3
sounds like a fun way to celebrate your anniversary ::yes::

++++++++++++++++++++

Megan should be home around 10am from her sleep over and then we have a pizza party to go to for her dance studio! need to p/u a few groceries and hopefully when we get home I can post an update!
need to put together her goodie bags for her swim bday party this coming Sat and hopefully get somemore scrapping done...and of course my favorite,
laundry and cleaning house...bleh!

Yea for bathing suits, BFF, pizza, dancing, sleepovers and fun! And checking your mail more than once every four days! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

thanks Judy, same to you....why is something supposed to come in the mail??? I checked it today, got our PP cd and uploaded all those photos, took forever! Megan did get a package a couple days ago from a sock company, figured its a bday gift so making her wait to open it....did you send something???

sorry I didn't get to an update today....promise to do one tomorrow! good news though my PP+ cd arrived today so I can post those photos :thumbsup2

had fun at the pizza party then decided not to get groceries, megan was tired since she didn't get a lot of sleep last night at Karlee's...shocker huh :rotfl: so we came home and watched The Rise of the Guardians, a cute movie inspite of the nightmare stuff. took forever to upload my PP pics to photobucket and got some more pages scrapped!

heading off to bed...see you all tomorrow!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sandra...good traffic in SF, didn't know that existed :rotfl::rotfl:

Wait are you saying we have traffic? :confused3 I have no clue what your talking about!!! :rolleyes1 Sorry couldn't help myself!! We head to Emerville about once every other month or so for the kids to test out different products at LeapFrog and I really try to make sure our times don't coincide with traffic but that doesn't always happen. We actually got to test out the LeapPad when it was still a prototype. It was kind of neat to see it go through the different stages to what it is now.

I think the highlight to the gallery for me was not just the pictures they's showcase but knowing that is where Walt's Apartment was going to be. Unfortunatly it was never finished until they made it the Dream Suite. Now how to get into the Dream Suite!!

Nope don't want to be one of "those people!!!" :rotfl2:

Well our anniversary is coming up in May so I may be able to make it work out if we do cancel this trip like we're unfortunatly thinking of doing. :sad2: Really don't want to but sometime things happen for a reason and better things happen later on because of it.

cool you get to test the LeapPad stuff!
would love to stay in the Dream Suite too...hope you can have that trip in May....will be sad if you have to postpone the trip when we are there, but family needs come first and I understand!

after we had said our good-byes to pooh, Megan and Steven were debating on riding Splash Mtn...I said I would take them, but in the end they decided they didn't want to get wet, so we headed over to the Haunted Mansion --- sorry no photos of that ride and then we talked about what to do for lunch...since Kris and them had never gone to Earl of Sandwich in WDW we really wanted them to experience it...so to save us some walking we walked over to Tomorrowland and hopped on the monorail which dumped off in DTD just a few feet away from E of S...as it was lunch time we had a wait, thankfully the line did move pretty good and we had a yummy lunch....also at this time I was texting back and forth with a scrapbook buddy here on the DIS and they were down in DTD grabbing some lunch too...Michelle (urbkohls) and her DD Courtney stopped by for a few minutes so we could chat, they are so nice and Courtney a little cutie...and bad DISer didn't take a photo :sad1:

after everyone had finished lunch we walked back over to the monorail and then back to DL....as we were waiting for the monorail I got another text from a friends mom that they were in DCA and we figured out when to meet....this friend was Megan's music teacher at her elementary school in CA and we so wonderful to us when Jim was missing, their little girl Rachel LOVED megan and would just follow Megan around during any events at school (Rachel is 8) well Rachel was in DCA with her grandparents and we wanted to see them!
we decided to meet up in an hour, but by the time the monorail came and seeing the lines to get into DCA we said a quick bye to Kris and gang and walked over to DCA to see them

P1120502_zps99df14fb.jpg

****while we were gone Kylee was pixie dusted with a special meet and great with Rapunzel...Kris will post photos of that, we were sorry to have missed it************

after visiting with Rachel and her grandparents we said good-byes and gave hugs before running back over to DL to meet up with the gang at the carrousel, we were just in time for Megan to hop on

P1120516_zps2da35507.jpg

then back into space we went

Photo0113FourBySix_zpsc8ca907e.jpg

before the gang took did a bit of racing...Savannah is too little so I stayed behind to watch her

P1120524_zps7f0d16cb.jpg

P1120526_zpsaa973794.jpg

everyone was getting hungry so we headed over to the Plaza Inn and all enjoyed dinner and a break .... after dinner we headed to a couple stores, Heidi and Robbie had some CM friends that wanted to meet Kylee and us all....they were hoping we could get a spot in the VIP section to watch fireworks but it was already filled up...we all did get some pixie dust though of some yummy Caramel apples...this one was Megan's

P1120528_zpsb0a45c30.jpg

and Julia our pixie dust fairy

P1120529_zps733b6dd2.jpg

after saying thanks and good-byes Steven and Megan wanted to ride Matterhorn and Space Mtn again...since the fireworks were about to start Matterhorn was closed so we went over to Space Mtn and it was down, just then then the fireworks started...having never watched them from Tomorrowland it was a different perspective and no crowds

P1120537_zpsbc5b870a.jpg

P1120541_zps0f2ba3ed.jpg

after they had finished there were some other CM friends of Heidi and Robbie who what to sprinkle even more pixie dust on Kylee and Steven....I didn't take any photos...Kris did you??? can't remember...Kylee got a Pluto Pillow Pet and Steven some Star Wars pins

our last stop for the night was IASW...love how it looks at night

P1120568_zpsc61cfbd2.jpg

P1120571_zps7aae2c75.jpg

and a final photo of the night

P1120573_zps2e691c20.jpg

it was now 11pm and had been a long day for us...Megan and I had arrived at 745am and my feet were not happy with me....we said our good nights and lots of hugs.....we got back to the hotel and were in bed at 1130!

California has traffic :confused3:confused3 nope none at all :rotfl2::rotfl2: I never drove into SF would of been hopelessly lost...we always took the bart in then walked or taxi'd
cool you get to test the LeapPad stuff!
would love to stay in the Dream Suite too...hope you can have that trip in May....will be sad if you have to postpone the trip when we are there, but family needs come first and I understand!

I prefer to drive into SF because of the kids. It's easier to keep them contained int he van than it would be on BART. :rotfl2: But then we park and walk every where. Really want to walk across the new Bay Bridge when it's completed. Just waiting to hear the final details on that one.

We are going to go just cutting the trip by one day. So our dates now are March 22 - 26. I'm fine with it since we're at least going. Maybe next itme we can meet up or at least locally the next time your down this way.

Maybe we can stay in the Dream Suite together!! Now how do we go about doing that. Guess I should find a way to become best friends with John Lassater cuz I've heard that's where he normally stays. :rotfl:

What a fun update and you guys got a lot of stuff done!!! I missed Earl of Sandwich when we were there over New Year's. (Never saw it even though I was looking!!!) I think my favorite pictures are of Savanah with her mouse ears and the group photo with Minnie.

DLR Birthday Trip update!

we are 14 days out until my girl is a teenager  starting to really hit me, can't believe she is almost 13!

our plans (since we are staying on property, we get early entry every day at 7am)

3/29 - p/u megan at school at 11am, go to mom's - she's our taxi! will only have carry on again and already checked in on-line, grab a light lunch at ariport, flight at 230, arrive CA 510pm ~ shuttle to DLH, check in, get settled ~ dinner at Steakhouse55 at 8pm! if we have some energy we might hop the monorail to DL for a bit

3/30 - early entry at DCA 7am! will hit our fav's and plan on lunch at Flo's V8...if weather is good, will probably go back to resort for some pool time, dinner at earl of sandwich...back to DCA later on...love the parks at night!

3/31 - Easter! breakfast at Storytellers at 8am...then taking the Welcome to DLR tour at 1030 - we go to both parks! will probably stay at DL the rest of the day and see the fireworks

4/1 - think we will do our DTD morning and sleep in a bit, lunch at earl of sandwich and hopefully some pool time....to DL in the evening we are doing the Fantasmic Dessert Party for the 9pm show, we've never watched F! at DL before so are looking forward to it!

4/2 EE at DL, ride a couple rides, grab breakfast at the bakery and then taking the 930 tour of Walk in Walt's footsteps! are VERY excited for this, it includes a stop in the lobby of Club 33 and wait for it..........................................................

WE GET TO GO INTO WALT'S APARTMENT ABOVE THE FIRESTATION

also includes lunch and a special Disney pin! :hyper::hyper::hyper:

we were supposed to have dinner at Goofy's kitchen, but I cancelled that due to our last dinner there...so will just wing it that night!

4/3 - our last day  plan on hitting EE for DCA again to ride our fav's then head back to DLH to check out, stash our bags and then go to DL for a bit, have lunch ressies at Carnation Cafe at 2pm, will hang at DL until about 430, shuttle picks us up at 520, flt home at 755, land at 1030pm, will probably be home and in bed by midnight!

Megan's b-day trip plans sound great. So much fun stuff packed in.

I really enjoyed your last update with all the photopass pictures too. I love seeing all the kids enjoying each others company. It is fun to see a big group of adults and various aged kids having fun together. :thumbsup2 Hope your feet are all rested up for the b-day trip!

Another busy day on Sunday! Nice that you got in the early rides; hope you made it on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride since that one doesn't exist at MK anymore! That would be high on my list for sure. :thumbsup2 Getting to preview the new Fantasy Faire looked like a lot of fun, including the Royal Theatre. :goodvibes

Having some of the rides with the queues and part of the ride outdoors has to give a different feel to rides that exist at both DL and DW I'm sure. And nice job on the artsy work at Animation Academy!

Some really great PP pictures and interesting that Space Mountain has the side by side seating! I guess the speakers in the middle would be considered a HM??? :confused3 I love the Matterhorn, and when I rode it I always thought it was one of the better coasters at any Disney park! :woohoo:

here you on keeping the kids contained on the Bart, especially if its just you! didn't realize they were re-doing the bay bridge?
sorry we won't see you in DL :( plan on going again Pres Day weekend 2014 with megan's bff and her mom...probably won't get back to CA this year, maybe next summer to visit friends.
:scratchin I'd be happy just to meet John Lassater :thumbsup2, probably where most of the stars stay right?

thanks was a fun day! EofS is right next to the movie theatre...I know its just such a sweet photo of her! the minnie one was an extra "pixie dust" which was a nice bonus from our night!

we do have lots of fun packed in,but hoping to have our breaks too so we can enjoy DLH and the pools! the kids get along great and have so much fun together, wish we were closer so we could get together more often and finally meet the 3 older girls too!
yup feet are 100% and I've been wearing my new t-shoes so I should be okay this trip!

EMH are the best! nope we didn't ride Mr.Toad...Megan didn't want to this time around, maybe this trip! the preview was so wonderful, can't wait to see the Belle show! a lot of the queue's are different from WDW some better, some worse....Animation is always fun! I like the double seats on Space better, make the ride more smooth to me....confused what is HM about with the speakers??? well the Matterhorn got new bobsleds so you sit by yourself now instead and the seats are really uncomfortable...both Scott and I felt really thrown around on it and my back hurt afterwards, it is a fun coaster though!

Another fun packed day at the parks! Also loved seeing all the pictures of everyone. So good to see the youngest to the oldest enjoying time together. Love all the pixie dust given too!

:wave2: Judy...thanks for the quick :drive: by...we decided to be a bit "goofy" too :rotfl:

Great photopass pictures, Lisa. I am especially fond of the one with you, Megan and Goofy. :goodvibes

Savannah looks absolutely adorable in her ears.

The photo with Tigger is a classic. :thumbsup2

I am hoping the girls will go on the carrousel with me in June...I miss not doing that when Mark and I go.

:wave2: I finally came over here and caught up on your TRs.

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: for the Haiti trip and all you and Megan have been through. It takes enormous strength to do what you two did. I hope it brought some healing. :goodvibeshttp://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/thumbsup2.gif

Love all the pictures from Disneyland. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun, there are some really cute pictures of the kids! :thumbsup2 I must say, I don't think I would allow my mom to sing on IASW even if we were alone. :rotfl:

How exciting that you get to see Walt's apartment! pixiedust:

They are actually building a new part of the bridge (from Oakland to Treasure Island) to make it more earth quake safe. Don't want another section to fall like it did during the last big quake in 1989. So before they open it up to cars they are going to let people walk, bike and run across it. I guess they'll be doing tickets of some sort so I'm watching the site to see when those are going to become available.

Whenever you make here we'll figure it out then. I can't wait to see pics of Walt's Apartment from your upcoming trip!!!

I've heard a few stars have stayed there but I think it sits empty more times than not.

Well now I know where to look. Don't think we made it that far down last time. Made it to the Lego Store and couldn't get my DH to go any farther. :rotfl2:

thanks Kathy! happy we did some fun poses with the characters! isn't she a little cutie! Megan won't go on it anymore by herself, so I will take an opportunity to snap photos of her when she does! I'm sure the girls will do anything for their Miss Kathy :goodvibes

fun was had by all...I still have Monday to post and a couple from Tues, so be on the look out for another update probably on Wed or Thurs.
yah, Megan doesn't like me "embarrasing her" but sometimes she just has to suck it up :rotfl:
can't wait to see Walt's apt :yay:
