4 th of July fireworks

We will be flying in from Aulani on the 4th and won't check in until late afternoon, so we won't be going to the parks that day. Can the fireworks be seen from anywhere outside of the parks? We are WDW veterans so we often watch the fireworks from other locations and even get to hear the audio piped in (on FW beach, the BLT roof, etc). We area staying in Grand CA, if that makes any difference.

DLR is not like WDW in this way. They do not pipe in the music to the external viewing locations. The most commonly mentioned locations are the Esplanade (the area between DL and DCA) and the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure (upper levels).

I have heard that the hotels have a television channel that will play the music/soundtrack. So if you have a DL view room, that is also an option.
