4 Quick Questions About Free Dining

Sorry if these have already been answered. I could use some help.

1) Our trip is currently scheduled for Oct. 25th - November 4th. If free dining falls on any of those dates, we still qualify for the entire trip, correct? Example: If free dining is the 28th-5th (just as an example) we would still get free dining for our entire trip?

2) We are interested in the deluxe dining plan. I'm assuming the free dining plan offered is not the deluxe plan, correct? If I'm right, how would that work?

3) If the dates work in our favor and we are able to get free dining, what do I do? Do I need to call or can it all be arranged online?

4) Does your vacation have to be booked prior to the free dining dates being announced?

1. Your check in date is the only date they go by. As long as it is included in the offer, you are eligible to get free dining for up to 14 nights, based on resort availability.

2. You get the QSDP for free at values, and moderates and deluxe resorts are given the regular DDP. You can pay the difference between your free plan and the deluxe plan in order to have the DxDP.

3. You can book online once the deal is located on the special offers page. If you have a Disney Visa, you have to call to book during a Visa offer.

If you already have a reservation, I would call to make the change to be sure you get what you want and that all deposits are correct.

And just to make sure you do understand correctly, your check-in date is the only one that counts. In your hypothetical above, you would NOT get free dining because you checked in before it started. However, let's say free dining is offered Oct 15-25. Since you are checking in on the 25th, you would have free dining for your stay through Nov 4.
