4 points free to a good home...with a catch

I have four points in my holding account. They expire on June 30th. I offer them freely to a good home.

Here is the catch. First, who ever uses them must use them in my name for a reservation made only 60 days out. And of course it needs to be before April 30th. Second, since I only have 4 left you would have to transfer the remainder of the needed points to me and then your reservation would include all points.

This may be too much trouble, but if someone wants the opportunity, they are welcome to it. I am painfully honest person and just want to not throw them away.

For those of you shaking your heads, yes I know this is silly, but I REALLY hate to waste anything. Especially something as valuable as my points

This is so funny! I was just sitting here thinking about what I could do with my lowly 3 points that are in holding (only good until 1/31/06) and trying to figure out what to do with them!? I too can offer the same deal to anyone as you are.....

PLEASE don't make us WASTE these points!!! LOL!

Hmmm - I am taking a very quick, spur of the moment trip in January. I wonder if two nights (1/24 and 1/25 or 1/25 and 1/26) are available at a standard studio at the Boardwalk. I am also wondering, since I am already living on borrowed points, if I am able to borrow from next year in order to transfer to either/both of your accounts.

Probably not - but I'll try to call tomorrow to see if I can get answers to the above.

If the dates are available, but they won't let me transfer, would either of you consider borrowing your own points to make the reservation? (9 for each night) In that case, I would pay $10/point - even for the lowly holding points.

I would need an additional 6 from JerJan and an additional 5 from tggrbuny.
My flight is already booked thanks to an incredible ding from SWA a few days ago. I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks.

I would love to help, it sounds like a good plan. However all of my 2006-2007 points have already been allotted to my cruise. I have no useable points until June 2007.

If you can find the missing five points from someone else, you are more than welcome to have my points for free. Giving them to you (or anyone else) would be my random act of goodness for the day. I know that 40.00 won’t buy much in Orlando these days, but you might need it go get the other points. There is a posting for 9 on the board today.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Let me know.

tggrbuny - just found out there are no standard view studios available for my time frame. Also, I am unable to transfer my borrowed points to your account to make the reservation. Hopefully, someone will be able to use them!

You guys are great! I am looking to spend one night after our cruise on the Wonder ends on Feb. 2nd. We want to do Kennedy Space Center but don't want to stay in the Cocoa Beach area. Only problem is that I need 11 points. Any ideas on to make this work??? I would be soooo happy and you all wouldn't waste your points!

These points are holding points (3 expire on 1/31/06) I'm sorry for some reason their was some confusion and a few people PM'd me about that. I guess the only thing that can be done is if someone wants to use them would be for you to pick a night and place and make sure that it's available, then transfer the remaining points (for that night to go with my 3 points) to my account and I can make the ressie in your name. If anyone wants them let me know.
