My girls & I are finally heading back together:cool1:. We have a tradition of doing all 4 parks on our last day. The order typically looks like this:

AK at rope drop - Ride Everest, & Safari
bus to HS
HS - Ride TOT, RNR
boat to Epcot
Epcot - lunch, Ride TT, & Soarin & Nemo (dd's favorite ride)
monorail to MK
Ride SM, BTMR, SP, late CS dinner at Casey's
watch parade & fireworks
- cry cause we leave the next day.

So my question....I have to book 3 FP+ before I can book a 4th at a different park correct? So in the above case scenerio would you book a bogus 3rd FB at AK? & try to move it up as soon as you got in line for your 2nd FP? THen before leaving the park would you book HS, EP or MK FP?

Sorry if this sounds confusing...we've done this in the past without any FP's I'm just concerned about the lines in December, so if I can utilize them I'd like to.

& Yes I also know the above sounds crazy...but it's just what we've been doing since 2005:3dglasses

Yes to the bold. However, it's my understanding that you can't book anything after the 3rd FP. You have to physically go to the kiosk within the park and book FPs one at a time. So in your scenario, you'd have to use all 3 FP+ pre-bookings at AK (or let the last one expire without using), and then you'd have to proceed to DHS and go to a kiosk, book a TOT FP, use it, then go back to a kiosk, book a RnRC FP, use it, etc. You'd have to visit a kiosk between each ride and there is no way to know if a FP would be immediately available until you get to the kiosk.

Or book 3 FP in your second or third park when lines are longest. RD rides at AK should be minimal waits.

Also consider booking your additional kiosk FP at times when you can piggyback it with a line youll have to wait in. IE: book ToT FP then wait for Aerosmith. When you are done the ride you can swiftly do the next with a FP.

using one of the kiosks to book the fourth and following fastpasses. I would consider not using them at DAK and look at DHS or Epcot. If you hit the safari first thing and then Everest you should still be able to get out of the park pretty early.

Both TOT and RNR can be had as FP+ and you could throw in something else, possibly very early on when you will miss it, as the first of the DHS FP+ rides. Unfortunately you cannot book both Soarin and TT at Epcot. Your girls may be too young to do single rider at TT.

The MK is going to be tough given the rides you have picked out.

We usually do three parks our last day and I have yet to figure out how we will handle that. I still have time.

Good luck

GREAT idea to not use FP at AK - I didn't even think that....But you're right those 2 attractions at rope drop should be easy.

& I know doing MK last will be a tough one. It always is, but I'm hoping to get FB for maybe at least one of the 3 mountains.

It's just one of the quirky things we do - we also stop at the photopass (memory maker) photographer at each icon that day so I can do a "Four Parks One Day" scrapbook page! lol

Two Wednesdays ago, mom & I did 3 parks by 7:30pm:

9am-12:30 at DHS no FP. Straight to Toy Story at rope drop (30-35min wait posted higher), Rock n Roller coaster standby RIGHT after, animation class @ 10:30, tower of terror 25min standby, muppet vision (no wait) and then off to

1:15-4:00 AK no Fastpass, lunch QS @ Flame Tree BBQ, Safari (30min standby), then EE standby (single rider), Nemo show @ 3:00 (walked in at 2:55), then dinosaur standby just after (25min)

(got lost between parks and wound up going out to I4 and swinging back to Epcot - oops)

5:00-7:30 Epcot with FP: 4:45-5:45 Turtle Talk, 6:05-7:05 Soarin, & 7:10-8:10 Captain EO (didn't use)
Started with Nemo ride 10min standby, 5:25 arrived to turtle talk on FP, Soarin right at 6:00 (always a pretty long wait even with FP), test track single rider (10min), over to maelstrom (35min - posted 25 yuck), skipped Ellen and headed home

Could have easily done 8:15-midnight at MK if we'd wanted, but we already had a long day there tues with my sister's kids and a second day planned there Thursday.

If I could do it again, I'd have probably opened Epcot (Soarin' at rope drop) done AK just as shown and then had FP at DHS for the later afternoon/evening (TSMM, SW & ToT) but since mom waited til Tuesday to buy tickets, I couldn't get TSMM in a time slot I liked.

We did this in March, almost exactly the same way with one massive exception - we rode nothing at AK since we booked our FP+ for DHS with the first between 10 and 11. Everest was broken when we arrived and, after standing in line for 20 minutes, waiting for it to open, the lines had built up so much everywhere else, we wouldn't have had time to wait and still make it to DHS for all our FP+. So we blew it a bit at AK but since we were doing a ride and a cupcake in each park, it wasn't a complete fail as we still got our cupcake.

Here is what we did though:

AK for rope drop - cupcake
Bus to DHS
Rode RnR and TSM with FP+ (glitch meant we were able to book all top tier). Cupcake at Starring Rolls, then TOT.
Boat to Boardwalk.
Quick run to the room to freshen up, then Boardwalk Bakery for a cupcake.
Walk to Epcot
Rode Mission: Space and Spaceship Earth.
Cupcake at Sunshine Seasons
Monorail to MK
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor
Dinner at BOG, cupcake for dessert
Visited with some friends
Monorail to Contemporary for Frozen cupcake (although we just missed out as a guy in front of us got the last one).
Monorail back to MK, bus to Boardwalk

It was an awesome day but with being able to get additional FP+ now, should be a lot easier to get more rides under your belt.

I definitely wouldn't waste any at AK first thing but bear in mind if a ride is down, don't hang around - that was our mistake!

I adore the cupcake idea! - stealing & adopting this one - thank you :flower3:

You are very welcome to steal; it was great but we were so sick of cupcakes by the end of the day though - although it was just my DD and I. We ended up having 7 cupcakes between us throughout the day.

I think I would book for DHS, (I'd add Star Tours, but that's just because I love it. If you only want to ride those two, book your FIRST fastpass during the time you're at AK for something like Great Movie Ride. Book it as early as possible so it doesn't interfere with FP 2 and 3.

Then once you get to Epcot, it's possible there will be FP remaining for TT, but definitely for Nemo.

I'd probably do stand by at AK and then use FP+ at DHS, and then book via the kiosks at MK. If you wait to use booked FP+ at MK, you wouldn't be able to pull additional FPs until those are used up. That means you'd have to attempt stand by at DHS too, which could make for some long waits.
