DH and I were initially only going to go to USO/IOA, but since I am a big chicken, I don't want to do HHN. I don't like things that jump out at me, so I suggested on Friday night we do MNSSHP. I love the MK and we would get to do Mickey's Philharmagic and all our faves over there. Well, last night, DH suggests we try to go to EPCOT to do MS and really TOUR the countries since the kids find it "boring". So, if we fly in at 1130 on Thursday, do you all think that we would have enough time to do USO that day, then IOA on Friday, MNSSHP on Friday night and EPCOT on Saturday. Are we giving ourselves enough time to complete the parks at USO/IOA? We have NEVER taken a Kidless Vacation and want to do as much as we can, but not miss out on anything. Whatcha' think?

It is doable with FOTL access, but you will burn yourselves out IMO. But hey, it's vacation, so have fun!

You will need another vacation after all that but go for it really enjoy yourselves:jester:

I've never done theme parks without the kids, I will find out how it goes in a couple weeks. I am thinking that it will go faster without kids though, so I bet you can do it. If my DH wanted to add a night of Disney onto our alone vacation, I would jump at it!! Have fun!

I personally would think it would be too much. I really enjoy being able to relax at the parks and take everything in and not feel rushed. Even with kids you have to worry about the length of lines and breaks for meals or shows. I don't slow my parents down (if anything they slow ME down...lol!!) but we wouldn't shorten our stay even if we could get a lot done. Knowing we have to try to get so much done in a little bit of time is stressful in itself and can lead to a not-so-relaxing vacation IMHO.

Whatever you decide to do though, have fun!!

But it's a good kind of crazy!!!

We have set those kinds of schedules before and done it...
But I have to agree with the others in that you will be wiped out at the end...But hey...have fun and enjoy....Looks like we'll be down there the same time as you....

If you do that when will you find time to go to Margaritaville and sit on the porch of indesciion and have a drink and listen to the music and well RELAX? When would you have time to visit Pat O'briens and watch the dualing panios? When would you have time to visit Mama Della's at PBH and enjoy a romantic meal and stroll the garden walk way back to RPR? And let me just say from someone who has NEVER gone to anything like HHN i mean i don't even watch or LISTEN to scarey stuff on T.V. I LOVED hhn. You just have to remember these are actors and they do a GREAT job and they Don't TOUCH you. I was great and i can't wait to do it next year. We did this on a Saturday night and then about midnight went to margaritaville. We make the most of our kidless weekends away which we are blessed to do about 4 times a year. We have triplets and 11 yo all girls so we like you can appreiciate you want to do it all. But do you really NEED to do all that? I mean when will you find to to enjoy your ROOM? My goodness I beg of you to reconsider what do you want from this trip? Do you want to experience something fun and exciting and at the same time have sometime to relax and unwind and reconnect with your spouse? Rethink what you guys want to accomplish from your kidless weekend and if it's being wiped out and totally dead from the trip then your plan looks to be on the money, if you want the things i touched on above stay put and do the parks maybe schedule yourselves a little treament at the GH spa at PBH if you just absoutley don't want to do the HHN maybe have dinner at mama's and get a spa treatment then fall out by there pool for a bit and enjoy yourselves and your walk back to RPH. What ever you do have a great trip.

How about doing MNSSHP and Epcot on the same day? Just make sure to leave Epcot early enough so you can get there. I'd recommend you hit MS and maybe Test Track from the start, work your way around the countries, then see whatever else you want until it's time to hop on the Monorail and to go MNSSHP. Use the night you were going to go to MNSSHP (Friday) and go back to USF, as they close later (7) than IOA will (5 or 530). Use the remainder of that evening to relax at Margaritaville (if you like Jimmy Buffet) and enjoy it.

Just my thoughts.

We talked some more last night and it looks like we are going to skip EPCOT. I think we will do USO on Thursday afternoon, IOA on Friday and "maybe" MNSSHP on Friday night. Then on Saturday we will go back to USO/IOA to do rides over or finish what we might have missed. We have ressies at Margaritaville on Thursday night, Boma's on Friday and Tchoup Choup on Saturday....all of them, I think, at 8. Of course if we do MNSSHP we will skip Boma's. We'll see.....
Thanks for the advice though. :grouphug: Maybe we were trying to do too much in a short time. It's just that this is the first time we have ever been on a vacation without kids! :lovestruc I guess we are just too excited! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

And it's this Thursday - Saturday? Well, if you see a girl with a neon yellow seat cushion at the Ghostbusters Show on Saturday it's me. :p

Have a great time!!!

:bounce:

Okay, I will show my ignorance of many things Disney...will someone please tell me what MNSSHP is? I keep seeing it on these boards and it is one that I have been unable to figure out. Thanks!

IMGONNEBE40, don't worry I haven't known what it stood for either. :p :p but I've always been crazy wondering...just never thought to ask! lol

Okay, now we have another plan in the works! Thurs USO and Margaritaville. Friday, IOA and Choup Choup Chef's Table. Saturday, we finish/do again IOA in the morning, then head to EPCOT and finish the night at the MK! I know, crazy as it sounds, but since we have already toured EP and MK, we are really only going to do the things we haven't done before, such as M:S and Mickey's Philharmagic. Everything else we get to do will be a bonus! I need to read more about M:S though. I do not get car sick(can read in the car) and love rollercoasters, but Star Tours and Body Wars as well as the Tea Cups make me nauseated! I am hoping a dose of Dramamine will cure that and I can enjoy M:S.
FlyFly....I'll be looking for you!

Not long now......

Awww you probably won't see me now. :p :p I'll probably only be at Universal Studios on Saturday . Save IOA for when I get FOTL and can quickly go on rides over there without missing a Ghostbusters Show!! :p ;) plus the first GB Show is at 12:45...and you may have already left for Epcot by then. :(

I'd also recommend slowing down and taking things easy.

Remember that on a "kidless vacation" one of the hottest attractions is going to be found in your hotel room!;)

LOL Kelly, you are right! But I think we are going to do okay. Thursday night we are going to hang at Margaritaville, so we won't be out too late. Friday we will be done with the parks by 430 since we have ressies at Tchoup Choup at 530. I figure we will be done there by 730, so we can check out the other resorts and make our way back to our room. Saturday will be the only long day, but there again, we are really only going to the parks to visit the new things, and as time permits, see some old too. Sooooo, although we are attempting 4 parks, it's not going to be commando style. (I hope!)
