I am planning a mostly non-Disney vacation to Orlando for hopefully January 2rd through 10th or 11th 2015. The plan is hopefully going to be Jan. 2nd and 3rd at Busch Gardens (1/2 day after flight lands and 1/2 day the next day before traveling to Orlando). I have an existing No Expiration Option ticket that doesn't have enough days on it for a full Disney Trip. I also have a couple of Universal tickets with no Expiration. So the next several to Orlando will alternate between a trip with 1 Disney day and a trip with all but 1 Disney day. In Orlando, the plan is:
1-2 days at Sea World (combined with the ticket Busch Gardens)
3-4 days at Universal
1 Water Park day (if weather cooperates Haven't decided on using existing Disney Water Park Tickets or adding Aquatica to Sea World/Busch Gardens combo)
And Finally
1 Disney Theme Park Day.
My 7 Month DVC window is coming up and I'm look at hopefully changing my OKW reservation to either BWV-Std View or AKV - Standard View (Both are currently available for after Jan 2nd). What looks like the "best" day to tentatively plan for a 4 park "best of quintessential Disney" day? What I've come up with so far. Thursday - Sunday is Marathon Weekend and with the road closures in the Mornings those may not be the best days for major theme park hopping. So we're looking at the beginning of the week. I know park hours aren't out yet for January so based on 2014's information which of the follow day's would be you're "First Choice" of days and how would you best park hop that day.
If it makes a difference, MK I'm looking at the following attractions:
MK
"Must do"
1) 7 Dwarfs Mine Train
2) Haunted Mansion
3) Pirates of Carribean
4) Jungle Cruise
5) Pooh
6) as many of the other Dark Rides as I can
"Like to do."
1) Lunch at Be Our Guest
2) Big Thunder Mountain
"Headliners I like but can definitely skip this trip"
1) Space Mountain
EPCOT
"Must do"
1) Spaceship Earth
2) Nemo
3) Figment
4) Maelstrom
"Like to do"
1)Test Track - Single Rider
2) if late in the day and I'm feeling good Maybe Mission Space. I missed it last trip but don't want to risk ruining the rest of my day over it.

Sunday Jan 4th: in 2014 the hours for the corresponding Sunday were:
MK - 9:00-10:00 +Evening EMH Crowd Level 7
Epcot:- 9:00 - 9:00 Crowd Level 5
DHS - 9:00 - 9:30 Crowd Level 7
DAK - 9:00 - 8:00 Crowd Level 7
This will be most likely travel home day for most New years travelers but it's still that weekend.
Monday Jan 5th:
MK - 9:00-10:00 +Evening EMH Crowd Level 7
Epcot:- 9:00 - 9:00 Crowd Level 7 - Evening EMH
DHS - 9:00 - 7:00 Crowd Level 6 -
DAK - 9:00 - 6:00 Crowd Level 5 - Morning EMH
Crowds only slightly lower, but 2 sets of EMH
Tuesday Jan 6th:
MK - 9:00-9:00 +Evening EMH Crowd Level 4
Epcot:- 9:00 - 9:00 Crowd Level 4 +Morning EMH
DHS - 9:00 - 7:00 Crowd Level 5
DAK - 9:00 - 6:00 Crowd Level 2
Lower Crowds but 13 hour day instead of 15 hour day.
By the way, I can do either Disney Transportation or drive between parks. Depending on order of parks I'm leaning toward Disney Transportation.
So, do I go for the day with MK EMH because I want to spend most of my time there even though it might be busy. Go with the day with 2 sets of EMH morning and evening. Or go with the day with shorter hours but most likely to have lowest crowds?
