Am posting late (trip was in Dec), but wanted to get the word out on managing the best that Disney has to offer while enjoying yourself in super compressed time.
I wanted to watch the Christmas stuff at Disney, which (to I) meant trying to visit all 4 parks, trying to visit the resorts that (are supposed to) have the best decorations and eat unique stuff. I pinged this board for ideas and am now reporting my experience to help those who want to maximize a day trip. The times are approximates

To start with, I have an AP and was at Marco Island for a vacation. I drove from Marco early morning and left next day, with a stay at Kidani.

7:45 am - AK. Got pics taken at the tree outside. Inside, wait at FOP was already an hour, so went to Navi with no wait. Got about 5 pics near there (yay to AP and included pictures) and then walked over to Everest, Dinosaur and Bug. Peeked into a few shops and was out by 9.

9:30 am - Entered HS. Did ToT, RnR (single rider), Star tours (they had already changed to the new scenes), LOTS of pics all over. Got my AP sticker and took the boat to Epcot, knowing I will be coming back in the night for Jingle.

11:00 am - Epcot. Had lunch at the holiday booths and watched the Christmas traditions around the world at Norway, Italy and France. Had a beer at Crown. I had FP for MK starting at 2, so left Epcot at 1. Lots of holiday pics around all the different places

2 pm - MK. FP for 7DMT (2'ish), PP (3'ish) and Splash(4'ish, which I got in line at 3:55 and had never done before). Lotsa pics and really took my time between FP to look at my fav place(s). MK was, as expected, awesome.

4:45 pm - Poly - Wanted to drink at Trader Sam's (inside) but wishful thinking. Grabbed a drink out, LOTSA pics and then over to GF

5:45 - GF - Lotsa pics and the Gingerbread house was awesome.

7 pm - Epcot - JUST to listen to the CP from the outside. Then booked it to HS

8 pm (just made it) - Jingle and the show at Sunset. Caught all of Jingle, and a little of the Sunset Blvd show. Beautiful. Left there at 8:25 and watched the final 5 mins of Jingle at the exit gate. Ate a pulled pork sandwich.

9 pm (just made it) - MK. BEAUTIFUL show. Please note this was an EMH night and MK was open till 1. After watching the show, rode Space Mtn and Thunder Mtn with a little wait (20 mins each). Then, with minimal wait, rode HM, 7DMT and Space again. For some reason, PP was busier than 7DMT, so hit 7D again and then....again :). Lots and lots and lots of pics

1:20 am - shut it down :)..... pics while the castle changed lights and then came back to life.

2:30 am - Kidani. LOVE the online check-in and getting the text with room num so I could just go str8 there

10 am - Went to look at Boardwalk, then Back to Marco

In brief. Hectic, but SO MUCH FUN. I truly got everything I wanted out of this day trip.

OMG I love it!! That is a lot to do and not something I would do with anyone in tow but could definitely see myself doing it solo. Thanks for sharing.
