We visited all four main theme parks over 4 days last week.
At no time did we even see a Dream Team member. And, yes, we were at the opening of the parks on everyday. Maybe I looked right at them and didn't know what I was looking at.
Didn't see anyone with a Fast Passes (the ultimate ones), didn't see any of the special landyards everyone was talking about or anyone with the special pins, no ears either. Whenever we stopped for a show or parade I occassionally asked anyone if they had an "Dreams" fulfilled. I got a bunch of no's, haven't seen a thing sort of answers.
I not saying they weren't there, just saying the promotion was invisible to us.
I am not saying it effected our trip, we had a wonderful time. We didn't go because of the promotion, we went because we hadn't been there in 7 years and wanted to see Soarin, Mission to Mars, EE, etc. I am just sayng that over the course of 4 days, and being at the parks all day, we saw no evidence of it.

P.S., I still am of the opinion that the promotion would never have been approved by Uncle Walt since it gives an unfair speciality to only a very few visitors, Walt wanted the parks to be special for everyone. There is a post here where a little girl wants to win the night in the castle; well of course she does. I do hope it happens for her, but in reality, with thousands of visitors, and the prize handed out at random, the chances are really very slim and the little girl will likely be disappointed, or least, many, many other like her will be. I don't think this is what Walt would have been after. The parks themselves should be a strong enough attraction, Disney doesn't need to stoop to these promotions. Just my humble opinoin, please respect it.
