4 park magic ticket offer likely to return this summer?

We put off buying our four park magic ticket until there was greater clarity about whether all four parks would even be open when we travel on August 1. Disney ended the promotion a few days ago. The ticket was supposed to be available through September 30. Does anyone think they will reinstate that offer once they have an opening plan for the parks? We feel bad we missed it.

This is sort of like asking if the roads will be the same place after a flood washes away the plain and strips the landscape bare.

It's hard to speculate on how Disney will sell or offer tickets as it reopens. They may not sell any tickets at all, limiting attendance to people who already have them.

Eventually, they will have various tickets and offers, but they themselves probably don't know how and when they will roll them out.

Just have to wait and see what they do....

You don’t have to ask the same question in multi spots, in particular mins apart from each other.

anyway, I think they will but since they stopped the promotion that makes me think the rumor of all parks not opening right away is more likely and thus a reason not to offer it

Technically, the ticket was supposed to be available for use through September 30, not for purchase through September 30.

Another possibility other than this being a sign the parks will stay closed is that they are trying to limit the parks to a certain capacity for the first few months they open, and they already have a lot of people who rebooked from March-May to June-September using the free dining recovery deal, so don't want to encourage more bookings between now and September 30.

I already got one for this summer. Did they stop selling them?

I think it’s more due to the fact they don’t want to give really good deals right now on tickets due to expire soon. They have a decent resort discount currently available and they offered free dining to cancelled guests. I think they’re pushing more for the resort bookings than cheap ticket prices that attract off site guests.

i was also holding out to see if the parks would even be open in September and now the deal is gone. after reading the posts on here I am wondering if i should buy my tickets from undercover tourist now in case they do stop selling them so they dont have to many people in the parks.

We're in the same situation. I booked my Airbnb for the last week in August then when I went to go buy tickets the deal was gone. Wondering if I should just suck it up and buy (the more expensive) tickets now just to have something in case they suddenly stop selling tickets period because they feel they have the numbers that they're comfortable with for late August?

i am thinking the same thing. i am going to end up paying 136.00 more now. I did however, just by my mnsshp tickets today just in case they stop selling those as well. If they cancel the party all together i will still get a full refund.

Well if you have a Target Red Card, you can always save 5% on Disney Gift cards and use those to buy your tickets. It’s not a lot, but it’s better than nothing

I think the same thing. Disney doesn't know if they'll be able to open the parks soon, and they are loathe to sell tickets that they might have to refund. Refunding takes time and effort, which isn't free for a company, and -- even if people feel they've been treated fairly -- they're disappointed that the refund was necessary.

Here's an idea: If Disney was suddenly to say, "Hey, with things being unsure, we're going to sell those old no-expiry tickets again for a short period of time. Buy without fear, knowing that if you can't travel this year, your tickets will still be good next year and the next year and the next year," how many of you would rush to buy them?

I would.
If I could, I'd buy a 10-day no-expiry ticket for every family member -- Merry Christmas, Everyone! It'd be a great way for Disney to raise some cash -- fast.

Everyone's different, but if I bought tickets for a certain time period and then the parks weren't open I wouldn't want to just hold on to the tickets indefinitely. I'd want a refund.
