4 or more FP+ at the tiered parks question

Just trying to plan my upcoming trip under the new system and am trying to figure out how this will work at DHS or Epcot with the tiers...

Say I make my 3 FP+ reservations at DHS and use them. Can I then get my next FP on a tier 1 attraction, and once it's used then get another at a tier 1, subject to availability of course? Or would I need to book my next 2 FP for tier 2 attractions?

I think once you use your first three the rolling FP can be for anything you like subject to availability. It will be interesting to see in peak times what you can actually get FP's for or if they will be early enough in the day so that you can keep getting more. Use DS for example, you use your first three FP's by say midday and then at midday you want to get another FP for Toy Story but by then they could all be gone for the day or you might only be able to get one for say 6:00pm which kinda defeats the gain because you wouldn't be able to get another FP until after 6:00 for something else. You will either have to spend a lot of time in one park to get any advantage out of the system or have a midday break and come back later hoping that after you have used your 6pm slot that other things will be available for that next rolling FP. I think we still have a long way to go yet before we understand how to use this new system to the best advantage.
