4 on DP...4 not...Can I make ADR for 8?

My family of 4 will be staying at Pop on the dining plan.

We have some friends that are going to WDW staying in a timeshare and obviously not on the dining plan.

We would like to meet up and eat at Sci-Fi for lunch one day.

Can I make an ADR for all 8 of us and then we pay for our family with Dining Plan credits and they pay for their family out of pocket?

Yes, not a problem.

But you should know that seating at Sci Fi is 6 to a car. So if you go with 8, you will probably not be seated together anyway.

the DDP does not effect when and if you can make adr's. they will ask about that once you go to the restaurant.

Good point. I forgot about that. I wonder if they would let the 4 adults sit together and the 4 kids sit together?
