For our late May/early June trip I noticed there is availability for 3 nights in a row at VWL. Originally I had planned for 4 nts in a 2 bedroom @ OKW. The possibility of VWL could be fun since we have never stayed there or even set foot in the resort. We have stayed at OKW 3 different times. But is staying at VWL worth the move? We would have to stay at another DVC for the previous night. This trip will involve a 4 nts on-site WDW followed by a week at an off-site condo (Universal, WDW water parks and maybe Legoland).

I love VWL, but if I couldn't stay there for all of the stay, I would keep what I have. Can you buy the one time a year 24 points to help you stay in VWL?

We have the points to use but there isn't availability for all 4 nights in a dedicated 2 bedroom. There is availability for the 1st night in a 2 bedroom lock-off. But if I am going to arrive late the first night and basically check out the next morning, I am thinking about saving points and just going for 2 studios that first night. If 2 are available. On-line it only lets me check for availability for one as far as I can tell. So we will be able to be at VWL all 4 nights but will have the hassle of checking out and in after the first night. Or we can just go w/ OKW and won't have to move units.
