In planning our land/sea adventure, I am so confused and uncertain and need your expertise. I have 2 choices, so here goes:
December 17-24 is a 4 day land/3 sea ; we would be adding 1 or 2 days for WDW at the beginning of the land portion

January 1-8 is a 3 day land/4 sea; we would still like to add at least one more day @ WDW at the beginning

Part of my dilemma is the crowd issue during the New Year's holiday. Can anyone give me feedback on the crowds during this time? My kids have never cruised before and are most excited about this part of the trip. Decisions, decisions. . .

The price is identical for both trips and the kids will be 9 and 6.
If it were your call, what would you do?

We are doing the 4 day land and 3 day sea in October and added 2 nights prior to the land portion. We wanted to do the Disney hotels, but it became so expensive. We opted for 2 nights at the new Universal hotel Royal Pacific. For $139 a night we get front line priviledges at there park by using our room key. If you are even considering doing one of those parks, it is so worth it to check our there hotels.
