The memories, smiles, and watching your family have a great time: PRICELESS

YOU ARE A SAINT. GOOD JOB!

Actually, I would not take a sitter.

I'm sure this will not be the popular option . . . but I would consider leaving the 1 year old at home with Dad. Although it would be GREAT to have all the siblings together, the 1 year old won't remember any of it. The others are old enough to enjoy the clubs, do excurisions, have fun with the shows.... The baby would not. Although there are plenty of people on these boards that have great family time with the baby, I would enjoy a different vacation with a baby -- not a cruise.

I bet the sitter could do a great job of helping dad out at home with a one year old. And, the baby would have great bonding time with DH.

I think it worked out perfectly for you! My suggestion was going to be bring the sitter just for the land portion, then have her fly home alone!

I agree with all of the comments that you are a great sister to have. It is unimaginably kind and thoughtful of you to do this for your sister.
