do i need 2 rooms if i have 2 adults, and 4 kids.1 would be in a crib....the others are 3, 5, and 7. and hate sleeping together....

thoughts? we are thinking hojo. what square footage are the rooms?

The new pirate themed kids' suites at the HoJo would probably be perfect for you. There is a king sized bed in one room, and then a bunk bed and single sleeper (chair that pulls out) for a third child. Plus there are 2 bathrooms, a micro and a fridge.

I was going to suggest the same thing! If you can get the Ent. rate, it is only $99/night.

The website says 538 sq. ft. for the Kids' Suite. It sounds perfect for you. Our 3 kids are older than yours and we never felt cramped at all. It was a perfect set up. I thought it was weird that the door that leads to the hallway is on the kids' side of the suite, but we just left our stroller in front of the door every night. No need to fold it up -- plenty of space.

thats good to know. thanks!

We tried to get the kids suite at HoJo's but it wasn't available for our dates (there are only 14 of them), so we booked the C1 family suite at Desert inn and suites. It has two rooms, 4 queen beds and a sitting area, 1 and 1/2 bath, fridge, microwave, free cont. breakfast, and the best part, it's right accross the street from the gates. the rate we got was $119.

see i like the sound of this. and its cheaper than getting 2 rooms. and it includes breakfast. have you stayed there already?

We have ~ and I prefer HoJo, it's one of very few *within walking distance ~ maybe the only one* that has indoor corridors, you open your door to a hallway not to the outside. The pools at HoJo are much better, the free breakfast at Desert Inn was pathetic, not even worth it IMO.

we are going in december so i wasn't really thinking about the pools. we stayed in windsor hills in wdw and they had a really nice pool which attracted me to it....but we used it 1 time. in 21 days....

i am of the understanding that the largest room at the hojo has a capacity of 5. so we would need 2 rooms. 2 rooms at 59 ent rate is 120. or i can get the 119 rate at desert inn. that room has a capacity of 8.

what was served for breakfast? we eat oatmeal toast and coffee...kids are allowed crappy cereal for breakfast on holidays...

Cheap pastries, cheap bread, cereal, maybe apples & bananas. I promise you'll like your room at HoJo better, they're fresher, cleaner, more pleasant.

I haven't stayed there yet, but I'm not really expecting much from the breakfast(consider it more like a snack), and like you, we wont be using the pools. I like this one for the location. I know HoJo's isn't too much furthur, but when you have a tired 6 year old at the end of the day it makes all the difference. I've read good reviews about the security here too. After dark you have to have a key card to get through the front door. I've also read that the beds and bedding in the suites are much nicer than their regular rooms.
Also, you don't need an entertainment card or AP to get this rate, which will save you a little $$.
