Oh wow, I LOVE your Kali River Rapid photo!! That would have to be my favorite water ride at WDW. That is the one ride I always wanted to go on from the time I started dreaming of going to WDW....and when I finally did it was awesome

I like water rides okay... well, I guess it's more like I tolerate water rides. I try to avoid them because 1.) I also hate walking around in wet clothes, and 2.) I have the worst luck on water rides and it never fails that I get soaked to the bone. So I'd rather sit them out, but sometimes my girls will talk me into going on them!

Wow, great picture! I guess my favorite water ride would be Splash, if that counts! I don't like Kali, I only went on it once and was terrified that I'd get soaked for the whole day!

Love the pic of KRR! I'm looking forward to all the water rides though have to say particularly Splash Mountain - it looks like soo much fun!

What an awesome picture of Kali! I don't particularly like walking around soaked and smelling of that water smell on those rides, it's just smells funky to me, but I do like the rides so I tolerate it and the boys would just not let me sit out. Although, I am planning on bringing my good camera to AK this year with my zoom lens and since I won't really be able to protect it properly, I think I'd like to stand and take pictures of the men folk on Kali this time. We'll see if they allow it. Depends on the weather too, if it's a rainy day I won't bring the good camera out and will be forced to ride everything. LOL

Awesome surprises for your mom, can't wait to hear about her reactions to everything!

And yay on 30 days, we're at 25 now. So exciting. The summer is truly flying by through no effort on my part at all.

Four weeks from today I fly down to Orlando!

And yes, I've started packing. Just a few things... my new Mickey & Minnie pajamas and Disney tees I've bought for the trip!

ACK! I'm way behind yet, we're at 22 days out and I have not started packing...although the "stuff" bag with the lanyards and things like that was never unpacked from last year really so it's pretty much ready. LOL

Just a miscellaneous update!

I haven't marked anything else off my to-do list:

- new shoes to wear in parks DONE
- new bag for parks DONE
- new tote bag to carry on plane DONE
- haircut & color (well, definitely the color... not sure yet about the cut or if I should just let my hair keep growing out)
- manicure/pedicure
- pack luggage
- buy park tickets DONE
- final check of park hours and itineraries
- new sunglasses DONE

But I have decided for sure I will be getting a haircut before my trip! I came to this conclusion last Wednesday... I went to a concert with Angie, which was at at outdoor amphitheater. Having my hair plastered to the back of my neck because of the heat and humidity sealed the deal on getting it cut! I'll probably schedule an appointment about a week or so before I leave... I'll be sure to post before/after pics!

Last Sunday, Angie and I went down to Kat's house for the day so we could make tee shirts!

These are the ones I made for Mom, Heather, and Helen. I'm not 100% happy with the one I made for myself... I think I'll try making another one and see which I like better. (You can check out this post on Kat's PTR on how to make the tees!)

Kat, Angie, and I have decided to do pin trading on our trip... we've gotten our lanyards and some pins to get started!
