We have a very special trip planned. I will be going with 4 generations of my family. We will be celebrating our twins' 7th birthday. It will be myself, DH and our 2 children. Also going will be my mom and my grandmother. It's a miracle that my mom can even go, 2 years ago she had 5 back surgeries within 4 months. Her doctor thought she would never walk again, so I'm overjoyed that she will be walking the parks with us.

All that being said, does anyone have any tips for doing the parks with grandparents? My mom and grandmother will ride the calm rides, no thrill rides for them. Anything suggestions for things to keep them busy and entertained while the rest of us ride?

People watching and relaxing should be enough for them. If they want they could wander in a store or something.

We are also going with 4 generations! We will be celebrating my grandmother's 85th birthday!

I am currently 7.5 months pregnant and have 2 little ones (ages 3 and 1). So, while the others in our group will be on the thrill rides, I will be sitting out with my grandmother and the kids. Our plans depend on the length of the wait time of the thrill rides. If it is a short amount of time, we will just sit and take in the sights. If it is a longer wait time, we will find something to do (such as going to a shop or getting on a tame ride with a short wait time).

Maybe a tour for them. I'd also check into renting a wheelchair or ECV that your mom and grandmother could swap on using.
