Hello,

When you arrive at each of MK, Epcot, AK, HS, can you tell me which ride you do first, which ride you grab fast passes for first etc please - need to be organised :lmao:

for us it will vary each time we visit but generally

AK - Kilimanjaro Safari
EP - Soarin, then Test track
DHS - TSM
MK - varies

Thanks for you quick response. do you mean that you grab your fast passes and then go on the same ride at the same time????

Do the fast passes work like disneyland paris, as in you get a fast pass and then not allowed to get another one for another ride for a few hours???

Ive always gone Nov-Jan avoiding thanksgiving and xmas so i never FP :)

What i head for first

MK - Pirates of the Carribean (I love turning the corner to see the galleon)
AK - Everest (Best coaster in Orlando imo, tho ive not ridden Manta or Rip Ride Rocket yet)
Epcot - Soarin (If only for the queue theming.. which is an airport.. which i would have been moaning about a few days before.. so thats a bit odd :) )
DHS - Tower of Terror (gotta ride this on a full stomach as i feel quesy if i ride it hungry so its first just after breakfast)

MK - FP BTMRR 1st Ride splash mountain
DHS - FP TSM or ToT 1st Ride Rock 'n' roller coaster (I just hold the bags!)
AK - FP EE 1st ride - what ever takes our fancy
Epcot - FP TT 1st Ride Mission Space (wimps line)

MK- Head to Space mountain, FP Splash mountain

Epcot- head to Soarin' or Test Track, FP whichever one we don't do first

AK- Head straight to Everest, FP Kilimanjaro Safari

Studios- Head straight down to ToT and RNRC. and get FP for later for RNRC.

We get to parks for opening and usually can ride our first ride without too much of a wait, say 30 mins. If for some reason there is a long wait we get a FP but that is rarley the case; can be for TSM. At Epcot the family often get in line for Soarin, I go over to Test track and get FP for us all. Having then done Soarin and Test track we get other FP for Soarin/Test track during the day.

Once you have a FP, you cannot obtain another until the start time of your FP is open (the system doesn't check if you have used the FP, only that your slot is open at which point you could go and get another FP and hold two at the same time)...unless the system has changed recently.

Disney does experiement with FP sometimes, at one time you could get a FP for Lights, Action, Motors and then get another one 5 mins later.

TBH, we rarely do exactly the same thing but, generally, this is it:

AK - FP Expedition Everest, then ride it, then head to DinoLand
Epcot - FP Soarin, then ride it, then head to The Seas
MK - Head left, ride JC, ride POTC, FP Splash, ride BTMR
DHS - Used to FP Tower of Terror, then ride Rock n Roller Coaster but last time we FP Toy Story Mania, then ride Tower of Terror and RNRC

We are quite lucky in that my youngest DD won't go on the big/fast rides so she gets FPs while the rest of us go on the rides. Very helpful at places like DHS where Toy Story Mania is in a completely different place to Tower of Terror :thumbsup2 She is also very useful for holding bags :rotfl2:

Had to laugh at the "holding of bags" that will be me and my mum :lmao: Mum was only saying the other day, everyone has to take small bags into the park so we can hold them all - 8 of us.

We just do what we feel like :goodvibes

However if we want to do any of the following that day we head straight and grab a FP:
TSM
Safari

Ok - I thought that was going to be a longer list!

Sorry we just do what we fancy as long as the line is less than 30 mins otherwise we grab a FP or leave it for another day!

I should probably say that we also make the most of single rider lines and rider swap as we have a 2 yr old DD.

Exactly what we do, we don't tend to have any plan!

The only FP that we tend to get as soon as we get to a park is for TSM, and sometimes Soarin. We also use child swap and that works really well for us.

I can't wait until our trip! :goodvibes

:rolleyes1 knowing me the way you all do..you ll know i have a complete plan on each step:rotfl2:
mk- fp space mountain, ride buzz
ak- fp EE ride safari
Epcot fp soarin, ride soarin, ride fp soarin...;)
HS - fp TSM ride TOT ride RNR then tsm

remember you can go after your fp time, but not before, we dont leave a zone before finishing it if we can avoid too much walking:love:
tracy

All our first rides we would grab FP's for first then ride so we could ride again later!

MK - Space Mountain (Splash Mountain last year because SM was shut)
Epcot - Soarin
HS - Tower of Terror
AK - Expedition Everest

:)

The MK is the trickiest because your headliners are on opposite sides of the park and throw the must do Fantasy Land (this is your first time - you have to ;)) into the mix and it becomes a real challenge.

The best way I have found is to do Space Mountain, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland at rope drop one morning and do Frontierland (Splash and BTMR) on another.

If you do an am. EMH you can then nail the lot in one morning quite easily.

MK - Ride 1st - Space Mountain - obtain fastpasses as we go.
DS - Ride TOT or RnRC - fastpasses for Toy Story Mania
AK - Ride Expedition Everest - fastpasses for Kilimanjaro Safaris
EP - Ride either Soarin or Mission Space and fastpasses for Test Track

all of the following is at rope drop:

MK - splash mountain - we get FPs first then get into the standby line...and if no line, ride it a second time in the standby line....if still no line, we ride in the standby line again and save the FPs for later in the day (you can use them any time the same day)..

Epcot - Soarin - get FPs first then get into the standby line

DHS - TSM - get FPs first then get into the standby line (we used to head for ToT first, but TSM has messed it all up...now we have to get FPs for ToT after TSM)..

AK - depends who's with us - if all of us, then EE - getting FPs first and then standby (but DD and i can't ride EE, so we would be the bagholders in that case).
if it's just DD and me, then we don't get any FPs...we take AK at a very liesurely pace...we love just walking around there....our first real stop will probably be Finding Nemo , the musical...
