We will be leaving in 2 days:yay: since I am traveling (following around) my daughter's band and their various activities, I will only be doing CS with them. Any suggestions? They will be in AK for one day before I arrive. We will then be together in all other parks for one day. We generally do some TS meals, but given their schedule, I don't want to be stressing about making it to reservations on time. We aren't big burger people, but my daughter's friends won't want to eat anything too different. Thanks for suggestions.

Here are my favs for each park...we like to avoid the burger and fry spots as much as possible.

AK - Flame Tree (Decent BBQ)
HS - Starring Rolls (Huge lunchmeat sammies, great veggie pita)
Epcot - Sunshine seasons (Huge selection and quality food)
MK- Cosmic rays (The ribs and chicken platter is the best value for a CS in my oppinion)

Parks:
MK - Cant recommend much her in the way of CS. None are fabulous. Columbia HH is not bad and Hot Dogs at Casey's are pretty good.

EC - Tangerine Cafe, Fish & Chips at UK, Sunshine Seasons (nice selection, healthy choices)
Fife & Drum is ok just your standard burgers & fries
Stay away from Mexico & Japan.

DHS - Starring Rolls has some good deli sandwiches for lunch and pretty good continental breakfast. Another park with not so great CS. It is mostly the traditional fast food.

AK - Flame Tree BBQ, Yak & Yeti

Resorts - much better options
All the values have very good foodcourts with lots of options.
POR - best foodcourt on property. I like the Carving station with sides for about $10. Nice dinner. You can make your own yogurt parfait, pasta dish or Salad. POFQ is pretty good too.
Check out Beaches & Cream and ESPN Club they dont take resvs. Food is good at both locations

Love the Earl of Sandwich at DTD. Wonderful sandwiches and salads.

I would avoid burgers..they are pretty gross.

Tangierine Cafe in Epcot for a falafel wrap
Flame Tree BBQ in AK for onion rings and a BBQ pork sandwich
CHH in MK for the best chicken BLT salad and tuna sandwich
WPE in DTD has amazing food

Briefly...I would agree with the above statements :) Though we also enjoyed ABC Commisary at DHS quite a bit. There was not much selection but the fish basket and the chicken curry were both very good. The Fish was basically identical to what we got at Columbia Harbor House at MK (also very good). I honestly can't say that we had one BAD meal of all of the CS meals we had (we were on the QSDP...so we had quite a few )

This was our list by park.
Sunday...Pop food court for lunch...food was quite good here...especially the Chicken Alfredo...Epcot: Sunshine Seasons...lots of great choices
Monday...DHS: lunch Pizza Planet (probably the most mediocre meal of the week for me) dinner ABC Commisary
Tuesday....AK: lunch Flame Tree...dinner at DTD Wolfgang Puck Express (very good)
Wednesday....MK: (lunch res at Crystal Palace) dinner at Cosmic Rays
Thursday...Epcot: lunch at Tangerine....I would have choosen Yakatori the next time *I* enjoyed the Tangerine food but my wife (NOT food adventurous at ALL) did not like the lamb and chicken...nor the salads. More for me hehehe! (we had a Dinner res at Garden Grill)
Friday....MK: lunch Columbia HH dinner Cosmic Rays
Saturday....MK: lunch at Pop...dinner at Columbia HH

We used our leftover CS meal credits to get bfast at Pop on a few days. Nothing special there...we are not big bfast people...but we felt we NEEDED to have some fuel in the tank for all of our RDs

My 2 favorite cs meals
1. ABC Commisary at HS. I love their cuban sandwich.
2. We really like Mexico's cs @ Epcot.

Thanks for all of your suggestions...my daughter's band just left and I already rec'd 2 texts of things she forgot (deoderant and sunglasses!) :rotfl2: I think we're gonna try the commissary at DS because my daughter loves cuban sandwiches. She will be thrilled!

Epcot - Morocco (Tangeire Cafe) or UK (fish&chips)
DHS - Toluca Turkey Legs cart (has fantastic pulled pork salad)
AK - FLAMETREE! Best ribs ever - plus great sides (corn bread and beans)!
MK - Casey's or Pecos bills
