Hello,

We are thinking of doing the 4 days cruise to the Bahamas but we are worried that we will be disapointed to be only 4 days on this beautiful ship.

Is 4 days enough to really enjoy it or should we wait and do another 7 days cruise next year ? We have done the 7 days cruises twice (eastern in dec-jan of 2000 and western in may of 2003).

Thank you!

We were on a four day trip on the Wonder. It was our first cruise. Since you are a seasoned cruiser, I vote for waiting. You may think that the four day was too short.

I agree! 4 days is great for a first timer just trying to get a taste of cruising. But for a seasoned cruiser, definetely go 7! Otherwise I think you will be disappointed.. :sunny:

I'd wait, because if you already love the 7-day, imagine how fast the time will seem to go if you just do a 4-day. ::yes::

Four days is still lots of fun. It really becomes a question of what you have to put into it to determine if you're going to enjoy it.

For example, I don't know if it would be worth the time and expense to travel all the way from the west coast just to return home after 4 days.

But if you make it a part of a larger Disney trip or if you're within driving distance or you can get cheap direct flights to Orlando, AND you're not paying large last-minute fare's, then I think it's worth it.

The best vacation I've ever had was a 7-day DCL trip. But after the 7-day, we still enjoyed a 4-day when we had the opportunity to booked a last-minute curise during the off season in a discounted Cat 11.

We did a 7 day cruise in both August 2003 and August 2004. This past January 2005 DW and I did a 4 day cruise and we thought it was great. In fact, we wouldn't mind doing a few more 4 days cruises, as well as some more 7 day cruises. Now we did spend 4 days in Florida before the 4 day cruise, so we still had a nice 8 day trip.
