4 day wonder Dec 16 2007

Okay, I am booking this today or tomorrow. Where did everybody go????

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Six weeks to go! Let's get this party started!! (is there another thread I am overlooking???);)

We booked this last year and I just now found this discussion on this cruise.
There are 6 of us including boy-9, girl-9, and girl-4.
Weve been on many disney cruises, the latest one was the 14-night transatlantic on the magic in august. This time we are travelling with my cousin and her daughter who will be cruising for the first time. We are going to stay post-cruise at WDW for 7 days for Christmas. I was trying to find a good place at disney for christmas dinner, any advise?

Check out the www.wdwinfo.com as they will have some information about special Christmas meals. I am glad that you have a DD that is 9, my daughter is also 9. I will pm my email address to you and they can chat via email and get acquainted before the cruise, then the kids club won't be so scary.

ok, we have an ADR for 6 for christmas dinner at Wilderness Lodge Artist Point. There was also something available at fort wilderness but it didn't sound as nice (under a big tent or something like that).

Your family will enjoy a very special Christmas dinner. I know that fort wilderness had a goofy's backyard bar-b-q at one time across from the hoop-dee-doo, that may be what was available at fort wilderness. Have you made any cruise reservations? We made snorkeling and sauna room ressies. I bought a cookie lee Christmas necklace with a palm tree today. We bought the kiddos a couple of sweaters each and took a survey of our suitcases. I envy those women in years past who had travel trunks. Happy vacation planning.

I haven't made many excursion reservations.
We've only made stringray reservations on CC. I don't think that I need to make snorkling reservations on CC, they always seem to have gear available.

What "sauna" reservation did you make? Do you mean "spa" reservations?

I am on the mend. Trying to get off the painkillers, the pain has lessened and the painkillers make me light headed and nauseous. They are worse than the pain.

I plan on taking the kids to paradise beach on nassau and just vegging out on Castaway Cay. I do have a reservation for Palo for just me on Thursday nite at 8. Anyone want to join me? I am not looking for a date but I can have one other person. :)

Make sure to eat a little if you do take any more meds. I found another thread for our vacation started by mamrose- it is under 12/16/07 Wonder.
I like your trip counter. :santa: Happy Vacation Thoughts pirate: !

I don't think I am going to take any more. I am sick of them. They even made me nauseous when i ate. Mostly my back hurts. Guess it is all out of whack. I am ready to go back to work to tell you the truth. I am sick of being home and not being able to do anything. I have done some shopping on the web. lol.

Why don't we make this the official thread since it has more posts.

Between you and me, I would rather have the sea day. I love days at sea.
(I live 30 mniutes from the beach, so it doesn't excite me as much to spend 2 days at CC)

The Transatlantic was great, it had 6 straight days at sea.

My parents are in 5124, and we have a cat. 10 gty. So hopefully we will be upgraded..

Okay, I got dressed yesterday afternoon to take my son to see a girl in a show. My first attempt to leave the house since my surgery. Got in the car, started it, and it started making a loud popping and cracking sound. I smelled something like a burning and cut off the engine. When they towed it off to the dealer today, there were hunks of metal under the car. HUNKS of metal. The tow truck driver picked them up and tossed them in the floor board of the car. I hope it is covered under warranty!!! If not, I will not be having any drinks on the cruise.

I will rent a car on Monday to get back and forth to work. So I am sure everything will work out.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Well, my compressor exploded. The whole AC is being replaced. Warranty is supposed to cover it. Whew! May get it back tomorrow.

Here's to drinks on the cruise!!

Okay, now the car is fine. I can stop shopping for an expensive minivan with a HUGE monthly payment. lol. I am trying to resist the urge to get an expensive car with payment, that would significantly curtail my vacation habits. lol. Hopefully, I can make this car last for a while.

Okay, cruise meet for this group at 3:00, Deck ten, port side, welcome aboard drinks, and awkward conversation. Anyone want to have a meet?

But did you see the commercial for the van that has the 2nd row seats that turn 180 degrees with a pop up table...me thinks that has the makings of a very long eucre tournament!!! Er...I mean, gee how wonderful for the kids to be able to look at each other and stay properly buckeled....:cool1:

It's the first minivan I've ever thought, hmmm...maybe...

I saw that, but with my kids, it would just make it easier for them to fight with each other. lol. Out of sight, out of mind! ha ha.
