I'm planning on dressing "casual" for all of the dinners. My husband and son will wear "Dockers" type pants with polo style shirts or "hawaiian" style shirts. I'm going to wear casual skirts or capris. I wouldn't worry too much about dressing up.

Same here. I've been on 2 other DIS cruises and you would be surprised at what people wear in the dining room.

Can you believe how close we are getting to the cruise?? I can't wait to meet everyone! It's nice that we are getting more people now that we're in the home stretch.

We are one day closer, now! I was just wondering if some of you veteren cruisers with children could advise me on motion sickness. My 11 and 9 year old have never been prone to it on any other form of transportation, but we have never cruised before. I looked into the seabands and they are very expensive. Do you use these, or bring "just incase" medication, or do I even have to worry about it? I have heard that the Disney ships are exteemly smooth.

On our last cruise my DD was 9 and DD was 1. We never had a problem. My older DD was on a cruise when she was 4 and never had a problem then either. I do think we had some just incase. But I think I read some place on these lovely boards that they have it at the door of the medical area on board.

Is it too late to join the thread?! Believe it or not, it just occurred to me to look for a group thread, and I booked this cruise in January 2004! But I just joined the DIS in May...

My dh and I have cruised RCCL twice before, but this is the first cruise for our DS7. We are getting so excited! I just filled in my August calendar, and we put Disney stickers on all the days of our vacation.

I already have Mickey paint heads in just about every color...

I've booked our Palo, rasul and parasailing (dh only!) reservations. We did online registration for the kids' club. I'm gathering everything I can think of in a bin. I'm probably going to forget something, but I don't care. I just want to go!

Now the wait for documents begins! We got our transfer docs for the night before our land 'n sea today, so hopefully we'll be doing the big dance soon!!

My Magic Express package (we added a night before our land/sea so we need separate transportation) came today! I have never been so excited to see luggage tags

Whenever anybody gets their docs, please post right away! I can't believe how anxious I am to get them! We received our hotel docs last week, so I'm hopeful about the cruise docs!

Who will get their docs first ? ? ?

I just got off the phone with Guest Services, and she told me our tickets and stuff were being processed today. She said they would be in the mail tomorrow, so being from Ontario, Canada, we should get them next week. I can't wait.

3 weeks today we will be starting our Land/Sea in WDW.

Oh, by the way, I also asked her about this new "Casual Cruise" dresscode. She assured me that my 9 year old son would be just fine in nice shorts and a polo style shirt for the dinning rooms. Just incase that helps anyone else out.

I also asked her about the hurricane situation. She said unless the port that we depart at is calling for horrid weather, the cruise is a go. She said to go with an open mind incase the ports get changed, but they do all they can to set sail as planned.

Ok - how crazy are we???? Our lives are consumed by this trip!! Here I am - sitting here at 10:15 PM (with a terrible cold and feeling rather sick )

But all I can think about is -- those DOCS!!!

I called yesterday and was told the docs were processed on 8/4 and would receive them next week.

OK people when next week!!! Do I not leave my house all week?! I can't handle the pressure!



So has anyone thought of packing yet?
