4 day ticket deal?

I just can’t believe that the summer 4 day deal is soooo much cheaper than the 3 day regular price, and not that much more expensive than a 2 day/2 park deal for family of 4.

Yeah, it was a LOT cheaper. Last summer, I compared a resort discount (bounceback) with the 4-day magic ticket special, against free dining and we decided on the resort discount with the magic ticket and we saved so much after adding all the food costs (eating at nice places). The full price of tickets compared to the magic ticket was a lot more.

This is crazy. Non-discounted room rate WITH Cadillac-version Park Hopper tickets required? Pretty sure Tom Bricker from disneytouristblog did the math, and this "deal" is terrible for 90% of WDW guests.... The $99/day deal is much better.
Yeah Ive never been a dining plan person either. I dont go to WDW often but seems like a hassle to me. I just wanna eat when and where I want on the fly.

I don't know. For two of us I think free dining may be the better deal. The room discount is typically only 10% for values, so we would save less than $20 per night there. We actually would prefer to have park hoppers but we could live without them. The difference in price between the full price 4 day hopper and the discounted 4 day ticket is about $170. For two people the discounted ticket and a room only discount would save about $480 over a 7 night stay. That's a savings of $68 per night. I think the QSDP and refillable mugs are worth more than that...unless my quick math is wrong.

The math gets dramatically better when you have four people in that same scenario. The dining promo can be an exceptional value.

This is my daughter's first trip since she turned 21, so we want to share some adult beverages. That makes a difference for us too, being able to get those with a quick service meal credit.

If we weren't staying value this trip I don't think free dining would be as attractive.

I can’t believe this but wanted to share:

Looking for 4-night stay at Montego Bay Hyatt Montego Bay (the most luxurious resort for families)

Family of Four. Wednesday to Sunday in July

$3400

Beach
Pools
Best food imaginable
True Luxury experience

Makes me question why we keep going back to WDW every 1-2 years when Nothing new is there

Same trip using $99/day deal and staying at Dolphin + LLMP + food will be much more

Yes, there are different vacations. But yet another reason why Disney has priced themselves out for a lot of people when it comes to value proposition

I think this sums it up. They are totally different vacations. I am not interested in a tropical resort / pool type of vacation. I don't like laying in the sun, I don't like swimming, I don't like sand, and I don't like spas lol. Maybe I'm weird.

Whomp whomp......50% off kids tickets that are 3 day or longer. Bummer for us with at 12/14 year olds. Looks like some other Summer Promos came out today.

Fair enough. This website dedicated to Disney Superfans. But to the rest of Americans, who struggle with the annual question: "What should we do with the kids this summer?"

And have been to WDW multiple times (or even once), the all-inclusive and Royal Caribbean super ships are an attractive alternative. And I would argue for those not superfans, majority of Americans would say non-theme parks are more RELAXING

Does anyone know if the 3 day deal can be used for 2 days at Epcot and one at H.S? Or do you have to use it at A.K?
