4-Day Cruise Question

What exactly is the ship doing on the "at sea" day on the 4-Day cruise?

It's a short distance between Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral so
I'm wondering if the ship is just meandering in the ocean, taking the
"long way" to Port Canaveral, or might even be anchored somewhere
between CC and Port Canaveral. Just curious.

The ship is moving very, very slowly at least it was last week when I was on it.

on our day at sea we "parked" out in the ocean with Grand Bahama island on the horizon, and the ship slooooooowly rotated in place during the daylight hours.
