My DH and I are thinking about taking a trip this summer and we just went to WDW for our honeymoon so we wanted to try something different this time. I have never been to DL so I thought about doing that but I also thought it would be nice to take a cruise. I will be about 5-6 months pregnant so I was thinking the cruise may be better because I won't be able to ride everything at DL. I was thinking that for DL we may get more for our money though because we can stay longer for less $$$.

Any thoughts?

If you want something relaxing, I would definitely suggest a cruise. Choose a nice company like Royal Caribbean or Princess. They are much less expensive than Disney Cruise Lines - unless that's what you want.

LOVE LOVE LOVE RCCL!
Quality and great clientele, lovely adult area, Solarium and so much to do!! OR do NOTHING at all!

I'll go for cruise trip. It's more relaxing and it will help de-stress yourself.

Have a fun planning your trip. :)

It's up to you. If you choose a cruise, make sure your pregnancy won't increase the chance of seasickness... Equilibrium changes during pregnancy can aggravate that.

Disneyland is definitely more relaxing than WDW. I spent both of my pregnancies wandering around Disneyland a bunch (at least 1-2 times/month) and it was fine. I even spent the weekend when I was 8 months pregnant. Other than having a hard time climbing up onto the bed in our King Suite in the Wonder Tower, it was fine!

Disneyland is small enough, intimate enough and relaxing enough and there are so many hang-out spots that it makes not being able to go on absolutely everything worthwhile!:thumbsup2

So looks like you guys think cruise....

I would really like to take a Disney Cruise rather than any other but they are a bit more expensive.

What others would you recommend and which itinerary?

I was thinking the same thing. Although both sound totally fun I would probably pick something different. But have fun no matter what you decide!

Do both. I mean, have the cruise because a spa treatment and a massage would feel nice because you are preggies. And then wait a year after the baby is born to go to Disneyland. :cutie:
