4 annual passes with purchase of 100 pts at AKV

My guide called today to tell me that they are now offering 4 annual passes to be activated whenever you want if you purchase 100 AKV points. Or you can get a $1500 credit if you don't want the passes.

Just thought I'd share for those of you who are thinking of adding on.

Do you know what the price/pt is for the add-on ? Also, any incentives for SSR ?

I assume this is instead of any discount? So would be $112 plus the passes (or $1500 discount)
Is it only for AKV or could you split the 100 points?

Are the 4 passes for wdw in Florida?

What a great promo. Hmmmm. It's hard to decide which would be better to take. Even if you only went once for a given year you could go for over a week and it's save you so much. Any number crunchers/actuaries out there? Analyze THIS! I'm an artist, this kind of analysis is NOT right brain friendly.

OHHHH. I think it was the mention of the guide's name and number. I had mentioned him too and it was edited. DVC can be hard to wrap the mind around anyway, so messing up on these boards will be easy for me. Sorry in advance! It's never intentional.

I'm waiting on that myself. Called my guide yesterday, and he's on the cruise again...Lucky guy!! He won't be back until Tuesday, and he usually calls us right back.

We have been searching for a resale for over 9 weeks now, and nothing fits our criteria, plus, we've noticed that prices have crept up. Just read a thread in which a bunch of SSR points were ROFRd this week too.

If we can get a 50 or 75 point add-on with some incentive, we will go that route as we'll get our June use year, plus '09 points.

Here's hoping we can get more info soon about this new incentive, Tiger

I was told if we add on @ Disney California for 100 pts we'd also get 4 annual passes. We really don't need the passes but we'd take the $1500 if we decide to do the add on. We'll c what happens.

I just got a mailer for a new Castle to Castle promo. You get 2 free annual passes to WDW and 2 annual passes to DL with a 100 pt add on at VGC. I have no clue why I got this one and not one for AKV. Unfortunatly for them we are not ready to add on yet and if we did it would be resale even with the price of the passes resale still comes out $500 cheaper.

It is for AKV. When I talked to my guide last week about adding on he knows that AKV is our home resort and we wouldn't mind adding on there if the incentives were right.

Question: If you don't get the APs for 17months(if financed) how can DL's expire on June 30,2011?? Am I reading it wrong?
