we are attempting to plan a trip in january. we were thinking about taking another couple with us that wanted to come along. in an effort to save some money we thought we could share the room cost between the two couples.

the question i have is: are there any resorts that can accomidate 2 couples and offer some privacy for both couples, and if the answer is yes, are there any that are not too expensive, possibly in the 150-200 dollar range or less.

any help or suggestions would be greatly apreciated. oh yeah, would these places be availabe for the winter dream maker package?

There are a number of places off site that you would be able to get a 2 bdrm for that price...but not on site....I think I would be uncomfortable sharing a disney size room with another couple...not any privacy...

If you'd like to stay on-site and are looking for accomodations that would give you privacy between 2 couples but still staying in the same room your options are pretty much limited to the home-away-from-home resorts/DVC resorts.

Unfortuneatly, these accomodations are quite pricey if paying cash and not a DVC member (unless you can find a good deal on the DVC RENT/TRADE BOARD).

You may want to look into the FW cabins - they can be found for under $200 a night depending on the time of year you go, can accomodate up to 6 people and have a separate bedroom with sleeping in the living room also I think.

Other than that - you may want to either look off-site or just spring for the 2 separate rooms in the interest of privacy and a 2nd bathroom.

I would get two rooms in the value resorts in order to keep price in range and have privacy

I would also have to go with 2 value rooms, just for the 2 bathrooms alone.

Having done 2 couples in a room at Caribbean Beach, I would recommend just getting 2 rooms at a Value Resort. A couple of days is fine, but having done it for a week was difficult.

thanks for all your replies, it looks as though we will be staying at the value resorts (if we find the money to go).

i would like to take this opprotunity to thank everybody for the help they give. not just me, but everybody. it is wonderful to see so many people that enjoy, and are so knowledgeable about walt disney world.

i will probably be asking more questions in the future, i'm glad i found this place!
