Hello!

I can't seem to figure out how to search for this answer and keep getting results regarding splitting credits across multiple rooms...so I'm sorry if this answer is obvious!

I'll be staying in a room with my boyfriend as well as his brother and sister-in-law this November for a family trip. We'll be on the Quick Service Dining Plan. Is there any way to split up our credits for the trip so everyone has their own pool, or do we just have to take personal responsibility to make sure we're not using other people's credits? Especially with the tracking now available on the app, it'd help if everyone could see exactly what that specific person had left!

Thanks for the insight!

The dining credits are pooled to the room so you will have to make it clear to each person how many Quick Service and snack credits each person (or each couple) is entitled to. Some time ago there was a post where one person in a group used almost every snack credit and the poster wanted to know if there was anything they could do to get their share of the credits back.

I was afraid of that. Since we're four people each paying their own share, I'll need to find a way to VERY politely let everyone in the room know this is how it'll work...Wish me luck!

Most of the time I think they're more trouble than they're worth, but in your situation punch cards might work well. You could print some up, so everyone can keep track of their credits.

I agree that for you a punch card for each couple may be a solution. I plan for a group and would have a problem if one or two folks used more than they were entitled to use before we all had had what we wanted. We tend to share a lot so there has never been an issue, but if one of my crew was willy nilly using snack credits without regard to the rest of us, I would not be happy.

I would provide a punch card to each individual couple for them to use or not as they choose. However, I would make it clear up front that anyone who uses more than their share of credits will be reimbursing the rest of the group. Good luck.

Now that tracking is available in the app it should be easier to monitor at least

We have the same issue for our trip in Dec. For my party we set up a note on the iphone with each person's name listed and each meal/snack listed underneath divided evenly. Each time a person uses a credit, they check it on their list. Since the list is shared, everyone has a real time list of everyones credits.

We will see how it works......

Similar question..my grown son and girlfriend have a separate reservation but do not have their own MDE account as I am doing all of the planning. How is this going to work on the app as far as tracking dining credits used?
