Would that be WAY too crowded?? Are the rooms like a typical hotel room where you would stay like at a La Quinta or Holiday Inn?

 :crowded:

I would not do it. I only stayed solo at Pop and thought I would feel cramped if anyone other than my husband were in there with me. And we are not big people.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size. I honestly did not feel like it was a noticably different size than most other hotels rooms I have stayed in. We stayed at POR last year. I know it is smaller, but it really didn't feel much different except for one sink vs. two sinks. Unless you plan to spend a lot of time there or have big adults, I say go for it.

Personally, I feel it is waaay too crowded for four adults to cohabitate comfortably, and we are not big people. In January, DS, 18 years old, and I spent five nights there in a room with 2 double beds. It worked out great. Our next trip, January 2008, DH and DS, 20 years old, will be coming along, so I have booked two connecting rooms, one with a king bed and the other with two doubles. If you have seen pictures of the rooms, in a room with two doubles, the door opens up almost right into one of the beds. It's pretty crowded for two, but butt-bumping time for a party of four.

I spent one night in one of those rooms with my husband.....certainly was glad we had not brought the 2 children!
If you won't be in the room much perhaps it won't be so bad.

yes - the older holiday Inn.

I think La Quinta is a little bigger.

and even worst one bathroom.

in a word.

yes.

We had 3 adults and 2 kids and it was a zoo in there.

We spent most evenings hanging out outside on the cement sidewalk...its enough room if and only if you plan on just sleeping there....

and you don't mind taking a cold shower in the bathrooms at the pool (which I did on several mornings)

I think four adults in ANY resort is too crowded. We are going in a few weeks - 5 adults - all related - Mom, dad, me, husband, sister and we have to get THREE rooms at the Yacht Club.

It makes for a very mellow vacation.

Do you want to sleep in a double bed with another person? Do you want to share a sink with 3 other people? I personally would not want either of those situations.

We have stayed 2 adults and 2 older teens at the ASM (same size rooms as the POP) - never again...it was really crowded and by the end of the week we were about ready to strangle each :scared: other.

I would definately get two rooms. That way everyone can have their own bed and not have to share one bathroom.

Yes to your question. 2 adults and 1 4yr old... we are fine for a short stay. Have done it several times, we love Pop. 4 adults???? No way....

Four adults in a Pop or any value room can be done if you are considerate of the others in the room and you are basically looking at a place to shower and sleep.

We put up a shower rod and curtain between the sink area and the sleeping area.

We were respectful of others needs, like a hot shower or access to to the toilet.

We were mature enough to share quarters to sleep. We did not mind sharing a double bed with a spouse.

You must also share drawer space and keep your belongings picked up off the floor and put away.

With the above conditions met, sure you can do it! And have a fine inexpensive vacation!

I cannot imagine having 4 adults staying together in any value room. Sorry - but I enjoy my own space.

Don't they charge extra if you have more than 2 adults in a room? Take that money & use it towards a 2nd room. That 2nd bathroom will definately be worth the price difference. (not only for the convenience, but for the time factor in getting ready in the morning)

We did this in March it was DH, myself and our best friends. It was very crowded, but as long as everyone kept their things our of the way it wasn't so bad. Just make sure you like the people you are going with or else it is going to be a very long vacation. We didn't spend that much time in the room anyway and after awhile it was sort of like being at an adult summer camp.:rotfl:

They do charge extra for anymore than two adults in one room, I think it was like $10 per an adult per a night. We were there for six nights and since it was $120 extra it still didn't justify getting an extra room because we just saved the money for all of us to come back with our families.
