What is the best way to handle ship account?

We are all in a SPR.

When we check in, can we divide ship account/room charge like what is stated above?

I know you can split up the charges for two different accounts (that is what my Mom and Nana did on our last cruise) but I'm not sure the limit of accounts.

If they only let you have two accounts, what you could do, since the only form of payment on the ship is with your Room Key, is to have one or two people pay the balance, and then divy up and pay what you owe to those people.

Yes...that should be fine. When my friends & I cruised in 2/03, we each used our own cc which was coded to our individual KttW cards. At the end of the trip, we each received our own shipboard account statement.

Each KTTW card can be tied to a different form of payment or credit card. You just set it up at check in or later at guest services. Each card generates it's own shipboard account. Any account tied to a credit card is settled automatically at disembarkation (you don't need to go to guest services). People using cash or trav. checks or personal check will need to visit guest services to settle their account. That can be a pain with long lines on the last evening.

If you put more money on your account than you spend, DCL will issue you a check sent to your home address in about 2 weeks.

each person gets a set of cruise docs ... each set of cruise docs includes a form you fill out for form of payment ... I was told at DCL registration if you fill out just one of those foms, everyone gets charged to that credit card ... otherwise you fill out the form for each person, with different credit card info for each person, and theoretically their KTTW card gets charged on the specified c/c for them.
