Can you tell me if this was something that was on Resort only, or was it resort passes and dining too?

I asked when booking today if the CM had heard any whispers of discounts coming up for that time.

She said 'nope' but to keep watching because you never know what pops up. (fingers crossed that a discount pops up for Feb, and toes crossed for free dining. lol)

I know for sure it was Hotel+Tickets... I can't remember if dining was included, and I can't find any historical details on it.

If you purchased a package with hotel, tix, and dining, dining was included. We used this deal in Jan/Feb 2010 when we stayed at the FW Cabins.

As I recall dining was not included for the regular promo.

It was hotel and tickets only.

You may though have had a pin that included free dining but 3 days of free dining plus free room and free tickets would have been a huge discount.

To the OP it seems they are not doing the 4/3 anymore and just doing "Free" Dining.

The discount portion was for room and tickets only. If you got the dining plan you paid regular price for all nights of the dining plan. The dining plan was not pay for four nights and get three nights free -- just the hotel room and tickets were pay for four nights and get three nights free.

When Disney feels ready to implement their next promotion they will do so. If other recent promotions have been any indication, for about the first month nobody will really understand it and the Marketing people will not have thought out all the ramifications.

Ditto. We used the 4/3 promotion in May 09 and it was definitely only room and tickets. We would have done the dining plan if it was included, but it wasn't and we paid OOP for meals.

It was on Room and tickets ONLY.If you wanted the dining plan for 7 nights you paid for it ALL 7 NIGHTS

I also took advantage of the 4/3 promo in 2009. We paid for the dining plan the entire stay.
