CG- where have you been? Can't remember if you posted that you wouldn't be around....my brain is shot these last couple of days, so do forgive me.

I'm here. I just had a very busy weekend. I don't normally post on weekends anyways.

No, no packing yet here. It's all sitting in bags in my office surrounding me right now. And, well, this was the last free weekend we have. So, I will be stuffing everything in all this way and that.

Suz - save some room - my slackard *** still has to get you some clothes to add to it. I'll try and bring it tomorrow to work to mail off.

I never really found any good pirate garb and it's too much extra packing for me to think about, so no, we probably won't be dressing up very much for the night.

Suzie ,thank you for the offer, I was able to find something.
I'm so glad! That's awesome that you found something!

Yes, I am still awake. Now I'm having my m/s stink that seems to last all day. Yuck. This is one thing I am nervous about being aboard a cruise ship. If I feel yucky, I don't really even want to move much less be up walking around a moving ship. May have to see my dr again this week (since I have to get him to sign my medical form for the cruise - long story but it ends with me racing around this week to get it signed and faxed to Disney within the next few days!!!). I also have blood tests at the lab tomorrow since the nurse at my OB couldn't get anything out of my arm last visit. My blood pressure has been very low (almost passed out at Target yesterday- 98 over 57) and I need to find out what's up...

Sorry, didn't mean to whine just no one else home that is awake.....slept so much today, every time I sat down I was asleep in less than 5 minutes! That is SO not usual for me! So, hopefully will get some sleep or I'll be chatting with the Westies tonight, I guess!

Im up late as well, DH went to spokane Wa on business for a few days, The girls are sleeping, so I decided to started a "pre packing". Im trying to get an Idea of how much stuff I have. Its crazy

Your BP is very low. you probably know this , but when I had a patient that was scheduled for any blood work, I would remind them to drink plenty of H2o. This helps to plump up the veins. let me know how your appt goes. I know its easiser said then done , relax and get a pedicurea and take care of yourself, little peanut like to reak havic on the body. He/she is letting you know that you need to slow down.

did you come up with a door sign yet. I have one done, and working in the second. both DD's wanted one. this is going to be fun to see other creative ideas.
You can whine anytime :cool1:
get a good night sleep

Suzie- I hope things turn out okay. This past year has been the year of learning about difficulties. It was 10 months ago I broke my ankle and found out I have begining stages of Osteoporsis. Pretty sad at age 33. Anyhow I have take a shot once a day and it needs to be refridgerated. So today will be the day to get the Doc to sign off on the form, so I can get fridge in the room. It is hard to beleive we got less than 3 weeks left. I maybe drunk the first night if my stress doesn't come down. <GRIN>

Tink- What kin of design do you have your door signs? Lacking th artsey gene, I have to resort to borrowing other ideas to spark my own :)

Well off to grind. See you guys this afternoon.

Great ones, Julie!!!

Did anyone watch Bones this past week? I DVR'd it and watched it last night. Made me think of our cruise - it was about pirates and buried treasure! Talk about timing!

Spoke with the nurse at the OB. Said the same thing, drink plenty of water but the low bp is common in pg. Just to do things slowly, make sure you eat and always have snacks on hand (see, those peanut M&M's are good to have!!). She said to be there around 1 and the dr can sign off my form! I LOVE my dr office! No waiting, no nada, just do it. So, should have that form off by fax to Disney today! At worst, tomorrow. I can live with that!

Forgot that my brother is coming to visit tomorrow while he waits for my mom to get home from work. Not going to be fun. Long story, won't get into right now, but he is not exactly very welcomed. I think Trish is the only one that knows the full story and it's not really pretty! Anyway, got to clean up the living room. Has all my junk from our trip to see Trish just sitting on the floor. I'd planned on doing that this week anyway but had other things that were priority first. So this just got bumped to the top five now. big sigh....

Breakfast now, shower, and off to the lab. Then to lunch (promised the rugrat Uncle Donald's (McDonalds) so she could play at the play place. Then off to the OB. Then home for a nap and some clean up. Wish Ed had the day to help but he has two meetings today to make up a full day.

See ya'!

Don't forget to share your door sign design over on Yahoo, everyone.

Thank you Julie for the countdown! :sunny: :goodvibes

my standard 4 yo girl gift is a Melissa & Doug's wooden bead jewelry making kit (plus I add a different little gift along with it) which has been going over super well for the last four parties but then yesterday I walked in and was greeted by their 18 month old son - Oh man, I had totally forgotten they had a young son. Then she unwrapped the other present and there was the price tag on it - let's just say that the whole gift thing didn't go over as well as I had hoped yesterday. But getting the Melissa & Doug wooden bead jewelry making set for 4-5 yo is a good gift - as long as they don't have young siblings around. The girls have all loved it. Their not old enough to have real beads yet, but this allows them to string their own jewelry and have fun with the hobby.

Speaking of bead divas - Jennifer, I miss you!

Julie,

I love your countdowns. I was just catching up here and I don't understand why Diet Coke is in the "20" countdown? It is probably very obvious, but I'm just not gettin it today. :confused3

Thanks Barb...I enjoy doing them too...it is fun to search for the pictures!!!
By the way, the Diet Coke is a "20" ounce bottle.....

Hey Barb - Welcome back! I hope your trip was not too hard. I hope that everything is "sunshine and roses" for you guys for awhile - you need a break!

Looks like the kid's thread is starting to rock - Kyle and Jessica can't wait to meet everyone!

OHJulie :wave2:

Hi everyone. We had a great time saturday. We had a get together for the group from Rhode Island going on the cruise.(that's about half the state)Lots of great food and :drinking1 .Even the EGGMAN showed up. :worship: (we're not worthy).

Sue...I am so sorry to find out you are not going.I hope you feel better soon.

Talk to you guys later.I have a big Boston Bruins game to to to later on.To bad it doesn't mean anything. They are about 12 points out of the playoffs.

My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail :snooty: :p Just kidding. :hyper:

You know some people fly 6 hours to meet up with others - but alas, we all live 45 minutes from each other...................Suzie makes me look like such the recluse.

Have fun at the Bruins game. :cool1: I'm an AHL kinda chick. We at least are getting a new team with the Sharks next season. My son loves going - but this season there will be no games.

Its nothing to fancy, What I have done, is scrapbooked a 12x12 page for each of my daughters, EM like princesses, and danie love pirates(Johnny Depp Jack sparrow)that will also be used as an opening page for their scrappbook at the end of the cruise. They will be place it in a plastic sleeve and hang on door. I also went to home depot and picked up a bunch of the paint chips of Mickey’s head that I cut around the edges, I die cut letters that spells our last name, and glued them on. Then attach coordinating color robbins to MK heads.

One other idea I was going to do was take one med plate, and one smaller plate or something smaller to make an lg Mickey’s head, have it laminate to use as a door grease board. (Im still thinking about that one). I found a site that had pictures of past cruises that posted their door design. I did get a couple of the Ideas from it to help kick in those creative juices and added my own personal touches I will find that site and post it . When I’m done I will try and post mine over on yahoo

Have to be honest, first day back at work and this totally blows. Just think I only have about 20 more years until I can retire, I am going to buy a lottery ticket tonight it is up to 189 million.

OK I'm excused for not getting that one. Us Canadians don't use ounces, we use mls. instead. :)

Tom,

If you won 189 million, you could pay for all of us to spend some time at Disneyland and visit with the Roses so they wouldn't miss having a vacation with us all!

Talked with the nurse again at the OB. Need to keep hydrated and eat small meals. Along with standing slowly, this should help my low BP. She said that it's completely normal but that if it doesn't get better by next week to come back. No probelms signing the doc to Disney and it will be faxed tomorrow. Ed has one at work.

Feeling much better today. Not sure what was wrong with me yesterday! Never slept so much in my life. Got my blood test done and the OB, so my frantic "nows" are crossed off my list. TG! Makes me more relaxed. Now just for the fun stuff. Cleaning the living room (rest of the house is okay and I really don't care about my bro seeing it that way), packing and my stinkin' door sign. Trish, you may need to help me out. Thanks for the offer. Yours is so cool! You really do need to share it at the other site!!

I feel like every night I go to bed and think about how close we are getting, I'm starting to imitate that commercial on tv right now "I'm too excited!". Am I the only one feeling like this? My tummy starts doing flip-flops and my heart starts to race! Worse than Christmas Eve as a kid!

Pre-cruise meet at the parks is not looking good. Everyone is so busy that it's just not possible. Nikki, I know that we talked about meeting up at MGM but DH wants to relax and not go to the park since we would have just gotten in a few hours before.

Pat, sweetie, how are you doing? I'm really concerned about you and your sis. Please let me know how you are.

Tish, gotta tell you my little let-down today. We just got back from the grocery store. Saw the Starbucks counter. Got a decaf caramel macchiato over ice...just not the same, honey!!! Dying for one from the corner place! But I did buy the stuff for my homemade ham, egg and cheese on english muffin! I know it won't be as good but hey, unless they fed-ex, it will be a while, eh?! Tell the guys I miss them and thanks for the memories! Okay, let me wipe the tear from my eye now.....a moment of silence, please.

Okay, that's enough foolishness. Time for dinner (yes, we are a bit late tonight!) and the troops are hungry. Catch you on the flip-flop!

Suzie, I do that commercial every night too... gosh i wish it would just be here already!

I have run out of things to occupy my time! At least I got the new Edition of the Passporter Cruise guide to read it came today! I also got quoted in the guide so it was neat to see my name!

Anyone going to be in Cocoa Beach or near the port the night before who would like to get together for dinner maybe??
