CG- Thanks. I got the bag for my camera, it will be perfect to use while we are at Universal as well.

Mom2- I also ordered the clear holders for each of my family going on the trip. Thanks for the tip.

Man, don't let anyone ever tell you that sitting for 5 hours on a plane is like riding in a car for 5 hours! UGH! No control over the temperature or the people around you! One guy was already stumbling aboard at 7:45 this morning and then ordered two Jim Beam and cokes on the first drink go-around! Lordy, there were some interesting people onboard! Wanted to take a picture but was afraid that they'd retaliate!

All in all, a good trip and met up with Trish no problem - after all, how many pirate wenches do you see at the airport baggage claim?! BTW, I was paid not to post that one! Just kidding!

Tori's having a rough time adjusting to little cat naps today, but mommy's a bit yawny too. One good sleep and we'll be right as rain. Playing with Emma and watching movies....

Beautiful landscape here! Weather's really nice and no rain, well a few drops, but nothing like it was supposed to be. Let's hope we brought some of that East coast sun with us.

Suprisingly, no pics today! I know, unheard of! Will try to do a few tomorrow since we are a having our spur-of-the-moment West Coast pre-cruise meet! WOOHOO! But that's only if we get a phone call back! Hello, anyone out there!!?!?!?!?!?!?

Suzie, congrats on your safe arrival, tell Trisha that we all say Hi, gotta say between my boy Pango and Little Lady Lisa posting, and SteveMed you taking up some of the slack, plus did I tell you all that it was 85 degrees on the beach today, things are fantastic. Drove over to Cocoa Beach this morining and then some shopping at the Ron Jons, spent a little time at the pool then off to Shylas suggestion the Alantic Ocean Grill (it was awesome Shyla). Tomorrow going to spend some time on the Beach before heading off to Grills to wish the Magic Bon Voyage. I will try to check in later, but no promises we are on VACA.

See Ya,

Pangs, the captain of my team, how did this get to be her day? Nice to see Little Lady Lisa going to burn her buns this early morning, had a walk down to the Pier and back this morning then took the kids to get some breakfast. Hope all is well, and a shout out to the newbies Welcome Aboard Snoopyto!!!

Pango, I think I have seen you in some of those Mickey Mouse Undies.

Gotta get to the Beach, see ya.

My husband just called me all disturbed - we failed in our que maintenance on netflix this week and are getting In Her Shoes - he is sooo gagging...
We're too impatient for netflix. But we love MovieBeam! MB started as a Disney venture and just launched as a standalone. No need for cable or satellite. No contract. No monthly fee. You buy a player for 90bucks and have your choice of 100 movies, with 10 more added every week. They even have some in high-def. And you only pay for the ones you watch. It is soooo much cheaper than cable, you don't have to go out in the rain to blockbuster, and you don't have to wait for netflix. Sounds like a commercial, eh? :) Actually, we love it and now you can be the first one on your block to get one too. We got our player from the website, but you can also get it at bestbuy or one of those stores.

So glad to see you all here! Woke up at 4:30 this morning to rain...wah....but had a nice phone call this morning from The Pirate and His Wench! Well, Trish did...I got the extra special voice mail from the Pirate last night! I will treasure it always! Hope to post some pics tonight....will have to figure out how to do this NOT on my computer...ooohhh, strange....

Julie, thanks for the countdown, but really, you're on VACA as your other half says. Really enjoy the sunshine for me, will ya'? Have a drink for me and enjoy the day.....oh, and Tom, when would you have the chance to see Pango in his Mickeys?!! Do spill!

Gotta run....get the girl ready so that we can leave for our mini-meet! How fun!

Just kidding.have a great time on the beach today.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!!!! It looks like I got 2 years of posts to catch up.

This will make our 3rd Disney Cruise trip. We have done the 3 day and 7 day western. I am so much looking forward to the days at sea. My biggest problem is actually disconnecting from work. I am guilty of being a work a holic. I have all the electronic leashes of course. So the days at sea will force the issue, I am sure.

David

Snoops, work a holic, what the h e double hockey sticks is that, and I really don't think that it sounds like a very good thing to be. We are all about stress free on this cruise, no talk about work, in fact isn't that a four letter word?

SteveMed, my friend there will be no talk of a mutiny, we actually had a great time at the beach and then a hour or so at the pool, the Queen just told me to do something, but she was just wearing a towel, how was I supposed to concentrate, I have no idea what she said. Where was I? Oh, yes we are just getting ready to see the April 1st (happy April Fools Day) off, can't wait 28 more days.

Suzie, need more pictures, sort of like need more CowBell, can never have enough.

Check in later.

Welcome Snoopyto

My husband is a workaholic too - but he does manage to relax on the cruise, more so than any other vacation. I think not getting behind the wheel of a car has alot to do with it! If he can manage I'm sure you will too! 28 days to go can't wait to meet everyone.

Roses - I had a really hard time getting people to respond to excursion questions on the main boards too. You might check out Cruise Critic to see if you can find anything on that excursion (I know nothing about it this being my first Eastern Cruise).

Okay finally caught up, boy this is a tight group. I am so happy to be welcomed.

So a little more about us, Wifey is approaching 40 but looks 28. I am almost 34. We live near Gainesville, FL. So hearing all the talk about $$$ on the trip, I realize how lucky we are that Disney offers Florida Resident discounts. We are both avid SCUBA divers. We are true Disney people. It is not uncommon for us to pull out of the drive way and drive 1 1/2 hours to Disney for dinner. Granted this year that has been curtailed because of fuel and way too much work. I have been taking a day off evry other week to recharge, but this will be the first really time off to relax since last March.

I am not sure if we are going to come downto Disney on friday or not. I will have to work 1/2 a day at least. Anyhow still debating that aspect. We have so many friends who work for the mouse. We will also be celebrating our 9th anniversary. Hard to believe it has been that long.
