Sorry I missed yesterday....so here's something about myself......I'm a tomboy and a daredevil. Hate to miss out on the small thrills in life. I bungee jumped off a 100 foot bridge over a dry creek bed. I have to say I was a screaming mimi tho :scared1: I was a flower child back in the day....grew up in the 60's with the SF influence :hippie: Its a good thing I grew up..... :scratchin

Pat , my long lost sister!!! . I missed this page I think.

I have never done a bungee jump but I did do that crazy swing thing that they have at most Six Flags , the one that brings up a few hundred feet and then drops you into a free swing , I did it twice in a row , what a rush . I also LOVE white water rafting , the crazier the better ! DH and I hike alot and I'll climb any mountain you give me , well except Everest! YUP all this and I smoke , I look like a picture of good health at least! DH has down sky diving before. i would like to try it , but now that we have precious little ones , I really don't want to chance it , DH can't anymore because his insurance won't let him.

Suzie , I think that he is one of them too. I'm not sure what that was all about with Claire and the crazy place where she was when she was kidnapped and pregnant. I just don't get the whole Dharma thing and why it is there , and who the HELL was that guy living there , was he one of the others too? Where did he go?
My guess is your going to CG's or Philly's ?

Ha - ha! Nope, although they would be fun, too!

I think that the Dharma Initiative is a great big scientific experiment. But that these people have been there for so long (look at the records, computer equipment, etc.) that they've just Lost it - pardon the pun! Claire's pg - hmmm....that one still gets me. And now that Sun is pg, I fear for her! That guy that was living there was the guy that Jack met at the football stadium while he was running the bleachers. Starts with a D but can't remember his name. Anyway, he went running off when they found the hatch, so all I can guess is that he's with the Others or he knew how to get off the island. After all, Walt was kidnapped onto a boat by the Others, remember? So, they have modern conveniences (ie: everything in the hatch and the extended hatches) and I believe they have the know-how. Why they continue to stay with the way to get off the island, the only explananation I have is what Rousseau said when she said that about the sickness. The hatch had quarantined on it, they take that vial of medicine intravenously, and they all seem to be a bit demented. She said that she killed them all but obviously she didn't especially if Alex her daughter is still alive.

Whew! That was a huge ramble that I didn't have time for. I know that next week is supposed to answer tons of questions but I'm sure it will just add to them, too! Ed told me the other night that he is so over this show because it keeps dragging. I'm just getting tired of all the reruns!

Gotta run!

Dude, the term is SOOO cheesecake, you should see what came up when I googled that word. It is sooooo cheesecake to describe the risque nature of those photos. Oh yeah - Show us MORE!!!!! :woohoo: WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

Suzie - you didn't miss anything in terms of what was said, except the weirdness of the looks on people's faces, but what you did miss was scenes from next week. There is a shot of them finding the balloon. Hmmmmmm :scratchin The next epsiode is going to be a biggie supposedly.

You are sooo making the right decision taking Tori outta there. That is most definately, absolutely not right!!!!!!! That is corporal punishment taking away snack from a toddler for not saying "here". It is also unethical not to let parents observe what is happening. You have a great center for plays and activities but the other stuff is not right!!!! Paul is the chair of the board of directors for our non-profit center so we have become very versed in day care centers regulations and policies. When I was pregnant I spent a lot of time in the room with Quinn and I try and stay at least 20-30 minutes every morning. Other parents will come in and out all day long. Parents are welcome at any time with no apt. Some parents abuse this too but again, it's accepted and allowed.

On the Great Bay Beach note, man, sometimes I wonder about you all - hasn't anyone been paying attention for the past year??????? We have talked about great bay beach several times - the day that the Belle&Rellafam had was wonderful there. It's an easy hop skip and jump from the ship. As it stands right now we're sticking to our plans of doing the excursion in the morning of the semi sub over in Grande Case and then for the afternoon I thought we would come back to Great Bay beach depending on the kids. I don't want to kill them with activities because the pirate party is that night, but I do want to spend some time back in Philipsburg so I can get my Guavaberry Colada and Paul can get his cuban! :cool1:

Out of our living room window this morning we watched some coyotes walking past the yard. It looked so neat against the bright white snow. We'll have to get a dog this summer to keep them out of the yard. The river that runs through our property comes from a National Park about 5 miles away and a Provincial park is just 10 miles away the other side and there is lots of wildlife around. It's so beautiful. I've lived in so many different types of places, some big and some small but I love the country the best.

Have to drive into the "big city" tomorrow and drive back that same day (about 8 - 9 hours return trip). Brittany's best friend (from our last move) is coming out for spring break and we have to go pick her up. Today is the last day of school before spring break  :cool1: When do all of you get spring break? Up here, each school division sets it own schedule. The government says how many days a year they have to have the school open, and each division can schedule it any way they want. They are allowed 5 Professional Development days I think. That's why when it storms and the buses can't run, they still say the school is open and the teachers have to come in or they are severly reprimanded. They can't actually close the school.

I told the kids last night about going to WDW before the cruise and they are so excited. They are old enough now that they want to help plan things. I still have a few surprises up my sleave, but I think I'll save them for the last day of the cruise. It will be really hard to get off that ship so it seems like a good time to use my trump card.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Barb

Here is a view of Coki that you rarely get to see. I had found it before, but for everyone we are planning on traveling over there with, thought you might want to see what the beach really looks like and not the post card views.

Sorry its so big:

CG , I'll have to show the girls your picture of Coki Beach when they come home . I think they are more excited to go to a beach then anything!

My Mom called and said Holly has a temp of 102.5 today , my poor little one , I can't wait till she gets home so I can cuddle her. When she gets sick she really gets sick, I think it has to do with being a preemie weighing only 3.7 and not being around other children so when we do go out and the are others kids I think she catches whatever they have so easily.

I just got home from the gym and I did lousy today , only 30 minutes. Now I'm going to take my nap which I really need since i always sleep so bad at night.

Oh dear Lord, don't show her my less than optimal photo - I was just showing you all that to show that it's not beautiful at all angles and that there are many reports that you need to be carefu lhere at this beach with belongings and just be a warry traveler. This is why I like it that we are traveling in a group.

Here is a better picture of the area (again, sorry for size)

Barb , I couldn't help to think it but , are you guys on the run? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: . I know you said before you moved many times.
We love the country too. I love waking up going on the deck or to the pool with my jammies on and not worrying about what I look like or who will see me. I even wash my car in my pj's.

I hope she feels better and doesn't get super sick. We have been forcing Quinn to pound airborn lately because he is getting sick. It seems to be helping to stave off the sickies for now. Now if it could stave off the attitude we would be al set - no, actually last night he was much better and we talked at length about being good, listening to teachers and whatnot. It seems to be working.

Here is the web site I got that photo from - it shows Coral World from some new angles too. I liked seeing it.

Maria, if you haven't done it yet, make sure you also go to Coral World's web site - there is a coupon and it gives you a lot of information.

Gorgeous CG !

I guess we will be bringing only the nessessites, and not much money. Are you going to Coral World too , I forgot if you were or not? I have only seen this beach when we were there but never atually went there, to busy shopping my head off. I wish I knew how to scan regular pictures, I have some beautiful pics of St Thomas and St Johns but not in digital.

Is this the same Coral World that is in Nassau? We went to that on our honeymoon many moons ago! Boy, that beach looks good right now.....

I was looking for my pics from our honeymoon at Coral World (which for some reason, I can't find!) but came across this lovely gem! This was our first trip to Disney in 1989 together! Blast from the Past!

Oh man, I was a HUGE fan of Figment and the Dream Finder - it was my absolute favorite attraction in WDW when I was in my teens. I LOVED it!!!!! I was mortally wounded when I went back years later and rode the ride nd found out that it was mutilated into the travesty that it is today. Note that no one - I mean NO oONE goes on that ride. I went on and was all by self - yet again - this past trip. I asked why we can't go up into the top of the pyramid anymore and the woman said that they now only use it for meetings. Truly sad ............

I was stoked, though, to learn that my 50 anniversary CD two disc set has the old "just One Spark" song on it. Maybe Figment and Dream Finder are not dead yet?????? One can only hope!

I hear ya', CG! We do go on the ride because we want Tori familiar with Figment. One of my favorite characters. I just really love him because it's a great way to get the idea to kids about using their imaginations! I LOVE THAT! I just wish Disney would realize what a HUGE mistake it was to take out the original ride and getting rid of Dreamfinder. Oh, the good ole' days!

Okay, here's a bit of trivia for y'all. When I lived in Colorado, my boyfriend was Latino. Every Friday, the gang would come over to our place to party. I first learned about Tequila and Mt. Dew (Awesome!) and then learned about cigars (yuck!). I remembered you had to bite the end off and spit it out. My girlfriend thought you were supposed to chew it up! YUCK! She lasted about 30 seconds and then ran for the bathroom. I got about 1/2 way through it and then turned green according to Tony and Paulo! They laughed so hard but really thought I was "such a guy" for trying it. I'm not a daredevil but I like to try new things.....this is how I tried Tequila shots (in NJ at a wedding) and Goldschlager (yum!)(at same wedding). My co-workers were shocked I would drink this because only two others there would! It's actually very good and takes a while to hit you but then you feel the cinnamon bomb explode - whoowee!! Once again, my co-workers thought I was "such a guy" for trying it - none of the women would! I've already told you how bummed I am not to try the drinks coming onboard, so now y'all can understand a little more. Although, Tom, the one with the raw egg sounds a bit gross! Sorry, hardboiled or not at all! :rotfl2:

So, the end to this story is, y'all enjoy your stogies and drinks! Have one for me (drink not a cigar!) and let me know how it is! insert sigh here.....

Really, I'm not a lush! I just like a good drink now and then!

I am actually going to be bringing Goldschlager on board. It comes in pretty sizable airplane bottles and I saw it the other day, and thought, hmm, that would be good to pack! Sorry! :teeth:

I'm not a member, but we both could easily be in LOTW (lushes of the world)
