Hi Gang! Roses- thank you for the generous invitation, I hope we can stop by on Saturday. Patty is going to be the "model" in the spa all afternoon, we think so she won't be there, which leaves me with 4 kids for a bit. I don't now if you or your suite is ready for little girls! If we can just stop by for a minute to meet everyone, that would be great!
Regarding the Limo-Patty called Happy and she got us the Stretch Excursion. for 8 of us. We had that the first time and it was great. I think she said it was $350 between the two families. I thought that was great since last time, we paid $150 for just our family to take the limo about 12 miles up A1A from Satellite Beach. Suzie- I am not sure if you've used them for cruising, but do you know if they will stop at a grocery store or an ABC liquer on the way? We will have our rolling cooler after all and it will need to be stocked!!
CG- glad to hear you are doing better and to all on the BL diet-great job! I am back on WW today....I used the low carb thing for 2 weeks to get the ball rolling so to speak. Finally broke myself thru a plateau that I haven't seen in 2 years!! Nothing major but I am sure you have all experienced a certain weight loss(in my story-I could only lose about 3 lbs before hitting a plateau) and it just stops...that is where I was and really frustrated. I really like core, aside from dessert and drinks(which I have "given up" for now

), it is most like how I usually eat-Salads, lean meats and low fat dairy. So you wonder why I needed to lose weight in the first place eating like that....I can keep weight off, I can't lose it to save my soul and I gained 8lbs on our first
Disney cruise and was never able to get it off. If I don't start right away on that gain(when it is still kind of temporary), it is really difficult to get off. So- that was enough for the therapy couch for this morning.
I went shopping yesterday, hit the sales at Talbots Kids, Gymboree and the
Disney Store for some "last minute" shopping before Florida. Got the girls baseball hats, some cute outfits that could be for spring to school and for the cruise. I panick about this time of year bc they should be wearing cute spring clothes, and they think they should and it is 36 degrees out! It is always a fight in the morning. The problem here inthe spring, and Suzie you have this same situation I am sure, it is 55 degrees for a little while, then it is 80. There really is no middle ground. The day Katie was born(April 28, 2001) it was 85 degrees! I usually buy way too many "spring" outfits for the kids that they wear a few times and then it is shorts weather already! I was explaining my troubles to my friend who has 2 boys. She laughed at me, her boys, who always look nice, wear nice t-shirts and track pants virtually every day. VERY easy!
I agree with you all about the over planning. I was just as prepared last time and didn't lose any of the "magic", but this time, since I have been there before I am hoping the trip doesn't lose something since we all know what to expect. Thankfully, the kids are both at different age groups so that should be good. I tried the cruise matrix, and I realized that only things on there were our Palo ressies and the "tastings" so I bagged it. My intention was to have the whole thing filled out but hid from my family and cruise companions(they all think I am nuts). I agree though that the planning is the only way to function through the waiting!
Alright-I'd better run. Hannah has standardized testing today, time for the big breakfast. I remember my mom would always make eggs and toast for us on days like that!
Have a great day!
