Okay, haggled out a deal with The Pirate and his Wench aka the Roses. Only had to barter my unborn child for this! Pirates and Wenches are tough!

The date: Monday
The time: 3:30 pm
The place: their cabin

Bring your favorite cheese plate from room service or munchies; cocktail of choice, etc. Some wine to be there (is that correct, Sue? Just had a brain fart and can't remember what we said!!! Hate when that happens!) A time to have drinks, etc. before the first dining seating has to leave. For $50 a person, you can stay later....just kidding!!!

Let me know if this sounds good to everyone. Kinda want a head count too, so we totally are not hanging off the railings!

I know it's tough to be everywhere and do everything, but would love to see you there!

Aye, Cap'n Jon, me thinks it's a Party!

PAAARRRRRTTYY!!!!! :drinking1

We will ship a case of wine to the ship, so don't feel like you have to bring your own. (Actually, it's 2-Buck-Chuck, that we pour it into really expensive wine bottles so you think we have money). :) We will also have some munchies, but feel free to bring your favs.

It's spring!!!! There was a big yellow orb up in the sky that we haven't seen in ages! We celebrated by spending the afternoon out on the driving range laughing at our golf swings. I'm a novice, but I've learned all the golf words. An hour with a little white ball and I can swear like a sailor! :)

And then that blasted Suzie! She tells me about the Wing Factory with the 25 different sauces and my mouth waters so much that we drive all over trying to find good wings for us west coasters. We end up at an all-day *breakfast place*. (Oh yes, Dear! I'm sure they'll have wings here!) Great. You guys are enjoying great wings and we're having scrambled eggs. Do they have WF in Orlando? And do they deliver? ;)

The Roses

Nope, sorry. Local dining only.....and it was soooooo good! Ate waaaay too much, but felt I had to enjoy some for you!!! Southwestern ranch, New Orleans style, teryiaki, honey and garlic, honey bbq, 911 (men's choice!) and some other habanero style sauce that gave me heartburn just looking at it! Good thing is, I don't have to eat for two days, now!

Check it out! http://www.buffalowingfactory.com/menu.htm

Good morning all!

The party on Monday sounds great! Can't wait to meet everyone.

Man, I'm dragging this morning. I have been laying off the wine for the diet, but I had two whole glasses last night and I feel wiped today! The family is still sleeping and I don't know if I am going to have the heart to wake them to get ready for chuch this morning.

CG - Hope you are feeling better!

OHJulie :wave2:

Okay, I am just SICK! I have lost my sheet with ALL my cruise plans and reservations. I've scoured the computer and it is nowhere to be found. Ed even said that he knows I saved it in Excel. God, I am kicking myself for not saving it to a disk!!

Shyla - could you email me our Palo details? I've also deleted all my pm's with information. I only meant to delete a few to clear up some space, but ended up not paying attention and checking the wrong box. Once they're gone, you can't get them back.

JUST SICK and kicking myself! HOW STUPID OF ME!!

Strikers picket the Main Gate at Disney. The strike by Animators began on May 29th, 1941 and lasted for 5 weeks!!!

Hey everyone...check out my other countdown...we leave for Spring Break at Vero Beach in 10 DAYS!!!

Roses, once again thanks for opening up your cabin to all of us, I was thinking also if there is over flow, we can also use the not so secret deck 7. I will bring the Crown Royal, even though I hope that 1.75 liters will make it until Monday at 3, maybe I can try to ration it so it will last that long. I already know that not only will the ship have to refuel in St. Maarten, but so will this Pirate, with cigars and Crown.

Oh Julie, 2 glasses of wine, we might have to keep an eye on you on board.

Suzie, relax it is a vacation and I have enough plans for all of us, if you don't have any, you can hang with us. BTW, I just checked the Parrot Cay menu and wings are one of the starters, your place sounds much better than BW 3s that we go to, but one of the best places we have been to is Quaker Steak and Lube, fantastic wings.

CG, hope you are feeling better, bread is my downfall, I used to eat Bread sandwiches in college, a piece of bread on top, with two pieces in the middle and a piece on the bottom, rolled up in a ball. Sounds nasty, but I was in school and all I could afford.

PJ and HeadGear, you gotta love the A1A picture, all I can say is Good Times, Good Times, god love the Queen.

SteveMed, dude are you alive? I am starting to think that we have scared you away, and where is In The Mood? What is up in Rhode Island?

Ed, I with Jon, what is up with the cleaning, next thing your going to tell us is that you brush your teeth also? If you want to be a Pirate, this has got to stop, I know the Mrs. is with child, but don't let her tell people your helping out, or you will be walking the Plank.

Tom

Once again, good things come out of bad situations! Losing the cruise matrix I had saved caused me to go back and redo it. Looking at my flight information, I noticed that they had changed my flight coming back to IAD. I called to confirm the change with them and asked why I hadn't been notified. She came back and told me a voice telephone change had occurred. Nope, never got one and why was it not done by email (my change preference for United in their system!)...couldn't tell me. Asked her if there was a fare reduction because of the time, she said no, then asked me to hold on. YUP!!! $40 difference per passenger!!! $120 total!! Unfortunately, they won't refund my credit card, but we will have 1 year vouchers for that credit. Hey, I'll take it any way I can get it! hmmm....that didn't sound good...You know what I mean!! So, we will use those for next year when we go to WDW in January with our friends.

Julie, 10 days! How exciting! I can't believe your time is coming so close! You guys will have such a wonderful time and sit back and laugh that we are all stuck at home....I still expect a call from the port though!!! I don't know how you will be able to control yourself from jumping aboard and stowing away!!!! Oh, wait, I know, TOM! Have a wonderful time and check in every once in a while, would ya'?! Let us peons know what it's like to live the life!!!

Tom, we have BW3 here too, but I'm not a huge fan. The place is just a bit too much....hard to explain, guess I just like the little local spots. You guys will have to come visit and we'll take you there!

Okay, need to vent a little bit! I hate this freakin' computer!!!! Thought I was closing out my Outlook but instead it was Excel...don't ask! Yup, lost it again! Can't believe it! **X*X*X******DD**** So, there's an hour of time wasted! Like I have that right now! piece of ****, supposed to autosave every 10 minutes but didn't! Ready to throw it out the window!!!

nope, don't feel better.....

let me know if you or anyone is interested in Oregon wines, I would be more then happy to bring a couple of bottles. :cool1:

Suzie I loved the sports Illustration Swimsuit edition yesterday :rotfl2:
If you dont mind, can DH and I join you all on monday's party :cool1:

Im looking forwards meeting new friends.

I do have a question. Im not a wine drinker , however I do like tropical and other types of mix drinks.
are you able to bring liquor beside wine on board. I assume the drinks on board might be spendy.
:drinking1 :tink: pixiedust:

The Roses , thank you so much for the invite we really appreciate it . I think we are going to see how many others would like to attend first since we are not big wine drinkers. This way the big wine cone suers can come first.

Dinner is on so I must run. hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

Tom- Yep, two lousy glasses of wine, I don't know what was going on. I actually do much better with Martini's and Margarita's. In fact we are going to our favorite mexican restaurant tonight. I will have to test the theory.

I was just checking the navigators and it looks like there may be a Beer and Wine tasting at 2:00 on Monday on board. Some of us may have a head start for the get together at the Roses'.

Ulittletinker - I am pretty sure that you can bring other drink mixers aboard. I am hoping to get a Margarita Mix before getting on board in addition to my DH's beer and some wine for me.

OHJulie :wave2:

ulittletinker, I just emailed you from the yahoo site. check your email.

okay, after a rough start this morning with little sleep, I finally finished that darn cruise matrix. I like to have all my information in one spot for quick perusal, that's why it was so important to me...also, I don't like the feeling of doing something and then like I wasted my time......much calmer now...

Is there anyone else staying near the parks before the cruise that wants to meet up? I thought there were 5 or 6 families but have only heard from three.....just don't want to leave anyone out - I promise it will be a good time!!!!

Suzie, relax it is a vacation and I have enough plans for all of us, if you don't have any, you can hang with us. OOOH! Gotta find a QS&L....maybe one in PA when we go up for the Penn State Blue & White game....feel free to join us! It's free and so much fun!!!

TOM!!! I FOUND ONE IN STATE COLLEGE!!!!!!http://www.lubewings.com/default.asp?fldLocation=statecollege

We'll have to check it out!!! Thanks for the tip!

Guess I will have to check out the menus on board this cruise. Wings for an appetizer, how gauche.....ha-ha-ha-ha! Just really consider the cuisine to be more nouvelle than bar/pub! That's a first! But it's always good! Never let it be said that anyone starved on a cruise!!!

Oh Julie, good luck on the Margaritas, our favorite food in the world is Mexican, in fact you guys might want to join us for the Tequila and Margarita tasting on Monday at 4 something, we are going to skip the beer tasting and go straight for the good stuff.

Ulittletinker, Oregon wines, we will try anything once, as far as bringing on other stuff, everything that I have read says that it is alright. We are planning on bringing other stuff on, so if you get into trouble you won't be alone.

Suzie, you need to go to the Quaker Steak and Lube, if nothing else just for the atmosphere, we will be going on Memorial weekend when we have to take Linds to Dayton for the Warrior Classic soccer tournament (Mom2 I am sure that you have tried this place). No response from Ed about the housework, I am a little disappointed, let your man know that he needs to defend himself.

Trisha, are you ignoring us? Put some lotion on the bottom bed sores and get on the computer, I will run Coki beach by the gang and see what they think, but it could be a go.

CG, If you have crabs, I will eat them (I am sorry, but had to write that), as far as meeting at the Ron Jon if you don't mind that would be great. They give you tags when you check in for the pool so I am not sure about the lazy river, but I am sure that we could figure something out. They do have a pretty nice resturant, but as it gets closer we should talk about how to arrange everything.

When the Queen reads this I will probably be in trouble, so I had better check out, but one more thing "HeadGear and SteveMed where the heck are you guys"?

Tom

Hey, it was a special deal....not exactly a one time, but not the norm! Gotta help out where you can to get those "get off the sofa free" cards! With the hormones going and a long time to go, you need all of those you can get!

I've thought about the meet-n-greet. Let's meet on deck 10 at the Outlook bar port side.....
Okay, confused myself on this one!!! The side for the actual meet is the STARBOARD side, it just happens to be the side that is to the port! So, if you are looking at the front of the ship (forward) it will be the right side.

*******forward

port ++++++ starboard

********aft

Sorry if I confused anyone! Just want to make sure that we all know where we are!!! Chalk it up to another one by the Blonde!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hello all, you have been busy, I spent the last 30 min. trying to read the last 4 days of posts.

Meghan and I just got back from our trip to DC. I am exhausted after 2 busy days of touring and then the 9 hour drive home today, but it was worth it. It was cool but very sunny and I couldn't believe how much was in bloom down there. My cousin (the one down there as a Congressional Page) was able to take us on the floor of the House of Representatives and also through the underground tunnels below the Capitol, it was really interesting.

2:00 cruise meet at Outlook sounds fine with me. We plan to head to the Mickey slide when we board as well.

Meghan would love to email some other girls who will be in the 8-9 year old group.

I ordered a tux for Jareed on ebay and it is to small. I am hoping the seller will let me exchange it for the next size up, otherwise Jared is going to look like PeeWee Herman in his tux.

Mketting , glad to see your back , hope you had a nice time. I have been very lucky with nice sellers on Ebay, hope you are as lucky!

We did our flight changes early this morning . DH Mom is going to pick the girls and I up at Orlando airport and we will drive back down to Port Charlotte till Wednesday. we got a super flight home this time , 4:55 , home by 9:30 . Dh is still flying home on Saturday.

Ulittletink , we are also liquor drinkers , I LOVE the fruity tropical cocktails they serve on the ship , your right thou they are pricey , DH LOVES his beer!
