Grand Prize Finalist Notification: Potential Grand Prize Finalists will be contacted in person between March 3-17, 2006 and such contact may be filmed and used on-air by Main Sponsor. Potential Grand Prize Finalists will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted by law), and return same, fully-executed, within 5 days of date of issuance of prize notification. If Main Sponsor is unable to contact any potential Grand Prize Finalist within 5 days of the initial attempt, if any potential Grand Prize Finalist or his/her travel companion fails to return all requested forms fully-executed by the specified date, if any potential Grand Prize Finalist cannot travel on dates specified by Sponsor or if any potential Grand Prize Finalist fails to comply with these Official Rules, his/her place as a Grand Prize Finalist will be forfeited and, at Sponsors discretion, an alternate Grand Prize Finalist shall be selected. Secondary Prize Winner Notification: Secondary Prize Winners will be announced live during the final show of HGTVs Dream Home special. The live show is tentatively scheduled to take place on April 22, 2006 and will be divided into four (4) acts (each, an Act). During each Act, potential Secondary Prize winners selected in the random drawing that took place on or about the week of March 3, 2006 will be announced. During Act 1, ten (10) potential Secondary Prize winners will be announced who will be eligible to receive the Act 1 Secondary Prize (as described below). During Act 2, five (5) potential Secondary Prize winners will be announced who will be eligible to receive the Act 2 Secondary Prize (as described below). During Act 3, four (4) potential Secondary Prize winners will be announced who will be eligible to receive the Act 3 Secondary Prize (as described below). During Act 4, three (3) potential Secondary Prize winners will be announced who will eligible to receive the Act 4 Secondary Prize (as described below). Only one of these Act 4 Secondary Prize winners will have been determined in the random drawing that took place on or about the week of March 3, 2006. The other two (2) Act 4 Secondary Prize winners will be the two (2) Grand Prize Finalists who were not selected as the Grand Prize winner (who will be determined as described below). All Secondary Prize winners (other than the two who are Grand Prize Finalists that have already executed documents) will be sent a letter via overnight delivery within two (2) business days following the live show which will inform them that they have won and each will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted by law), and return same, fully-executed, within 10 days of date of issuance of prize notification. If Main Sponsor is unable to contact any potential Secondary Prize winner, if a potential Secondary Prize winner fails to complete and return all requested forms fully-executed by the specified date or if any potential Secondary Prize winner fails to comply with any of the requirements set forth in these Official Rules, his/her prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsors discretion, an alternate Secondary Prize winner shall be selected. Grand Prize Drawing: During Act 4, the Grand Prize winner will be selected randomly from among the eligible Grand Prize Finalists present at the live show. The Grand Prize Finalists not selected as the Grand Prize Winner will each receive the Act 4 Secondary Prize. Grand Prize winner will be announced live and be presented with the Grand Prize, but will not take ownership of the Grand Prize until a later date.
