Actually it is more like there could be a thousand stories to go with that, in fact that is the very reason the Queen doesn't like duct tape, because I am in charge of packing the car.

Speaking of duct tape...I got this picture in an email this morning...it has been around and around, but with our whole duct tape discussion it seems appropriate to post it!

Did you know that if you google duct tape images you'll find some mighty interesting uses for it...some uses that I'm sure even you haven't thought of yet Suzie!!!!!

Whew, I'm exhausted reading all those post since yesterday.

Congrats Suzie!!! I just loved that time and feeling of movement in my tummy. I don't drink so at least now if we have a meet I won't be the only one drinking pop!!! Hope everything goes smoothly. You definitley will deserve some special spa ressies!!

PAT- I love those duct tape pictures, it really is good for just about anything. I hate to admit it but once when i was a teenager I did actually wrap some aroung my middle to hold my stomach in. I was miserable all night.

GOOD LORD! I take a nap and come back to all THIS! I laughed so hard I almost pee'd my pants at those pictures! The duct tape one is hysterical! I really don't have a fetish for it but after these, I might! Taping your ****s together....ouch! Reminds me of that scene from The 40 years old virgin!!!! The funniest off the Duct Tape list is to me is this: Poor man's viagra: duct tape and two popsicle sticks I laugh at that everytime!!!! Read the list sometime, it's really funny!!! There's actually a teen at our church that made a dress, hat and bag out of duct tape!! Weird, I know, but kinda cute!

23 rolls of industrial strength duck brand duct tape, so just under 4,000 feet of tape
2 wooden dowells
4 metal eye hooks
2 U bolts
65 hours of work went in to it! 45 of which were braiding the duct tape into rope alone!!!

Those duct tape pictures are TOO funny. I was laughing so hard! Tim thought something was wrong with me....LOL.

Also, to Suzie on your soon to be new addition. That's wonderful! So happy for you.

CG- No worries here about making me go back those 100 pages...lol. I didn't think it was a post to me back there, I thought maybe you were referring to something that would be of interest to me. I did see that post from you a bit back though, sorry I didn't respond right away. Thanks for the complement. And I did check out that trip report thread...got most of the way through before I had to do something else and didn't get back to it yet.

For the BL- I know we haven't been on the official roll call or anything but my DH, Tim, has lost 10 lbs! This has been in the last month I think. He tried on these jeans he hasn't worn in like 5 years and was able to button the top button if he sucked it in. He didn't wear them out though because he didn't want to have to suck it in the whole time. I can tell his regular clothes are getting a bit loose on him though. Might have to get him some new ones for the cruise now.

Also, I know noone answered my ? about if they're doing Trunk Bay on their own but I found a thread on the front cruise page about it today. They say it's actually pretty easy and affordable...Here's it is....

"Personally, I'd do St John on my own, if I were you. There's a ferry that goes there right from the ship's terminal area, and also one that goes from Red Hook. The ferry from Charlotte Amalie is $7 one way, and takes about 45 minutes. The one from Red Hook is 20 minutes and costs $3 one way. It's a 15 minute taxi ride to Red Hook and might cost about $10. Once you get to St John, there will be taxi's waiting there to take you wherever you want to go.

If more and more people would start booking excursions on their own, then maybe all of the cruise lines would get their act together and either charge less, or at least make booking a little less stressful."

jewelgrrl, we are doing Trunk Bay on our own. On the yahoo site, I posted a St. Thomas and St. John website that has all the ferry times and schedules. It looks like it will cost a bit less if we do it our own. And-we don't have to rush off the ship in the am if we don't want to.(We want to..... )

Wow-you guys have been busy- I have my threads at 5 per page and I swear you guys put up 100 pages this week alone!

I have no new news today! Just really getting excited. I went to Costco and got the girls speedo bikini bathing suits for $11. each....They had THE cutest suits for adults but I was with my friend and didn't want to dig for my size. I'll go back! I am not above getting my entire wardrobe at Costco!

HGP is updating his resume tonight and since I am the official family resume writer, I am going to have to help . HE thinks it is time to remove his stints as a snake charmer and shepard from his resume. That is his joke and it is only funny when he tells it. When we would go to GM functions, people would ask him what he did for a living... and he would say...in all seriousness...."I am a snake charmer" or "I am a shepard". It was so funny to see these people try to maintain straight faces while they asked him to expand on that a bit!!!

Suzie-I like your new countdown clock and is that REALLY a duct tape hammock????
