Yay, Yay, Yay....Ohsodisney forgives me..... Now I can enjoy my evening. I have company coming for dinner, so must get busy in the kitchen.

Thanks everyone for being so supportive . We do have 8 weeks to ponder this , possibally a year . I practically fell my chair when I saw the prices of homes .I will have to post some pictures of what I would be leaving behind , open fields , horses in my back yard and 4 lovely acreas to mow .The thought of living in a townhome or condo is scary to me , I am not a city gal ! I have only moved 20 minutes North an then 20 minutes South of my parents home .

Mketting , wow LA , now that would be a no for me too , hard enough to stretch the cord this far !

Susie , I love you picture , you are one hot Mama in that suit ! Kudos for the 40 pounds thats one heck of a feet . Tori looks so cute , cold but cute ! I didn't realize you have been of the Disney ship before .

Ojluie , what is on deck 7 ? We are on deck 6 and I thought that there was nothing above us , how wrong I may be . I have never sailed Disney before , so I am clueless .

Phiilyjen . I just asked DH if Pennsylvania would be too far to commute

I am still hoping we can change to the early seating for the girls sake , maybe more people will cancel by the 14th . If not we will go with the flow . I am not sure if I should call again .

OHJulie- Yes Meg is 8, she'll turn 9 on the cruise. I wouldn't want her to wear them all the time, probably still keep her in the glasses most of the time but It would be so nice for her to be able to wear contacts at times when glasses are in the way, especially sometimes in the Summer so she could wear sunglasses, and swim meets. I quit wearing contacts when I had kids, just got easier to wear glasses but will be going to get contacts again before the cruise for myself.

Meet- I think Saturday afternoon would be good also since I know we all have various plans for the week. Deck 7 is a good idea, we went there on our 4 day cruise to watch the ship come into Nassau.

Ohsodisney- At the front of the ship, on deck 7 there is a nice, big verandah anyone can use. Most people, other than disers, don't know about it because it is not easily found, you wouldn't just walk out on it unless you were looking for it.

okay everyone. Too many variations to do a poll for the MnG.

Here's what I propose:
Meet Saturday around 2:30-3:00 either at the Outlook bar on Deck 10 (it's closed so no one is there but has chairs, etc for sitting and talking - overlooks the adult pool)

OR

Meet Saturday same time on deck 7 AFT (at the back) in the secret area.

Any other suggestions?? I can't remember if there were others...

ALSO - seems that we want to have a wine and cheese party - just one night or a few more?? What do you think? I do like the deck 7 thing area for this (Sue and Jon I really was just kidding you guys!! I'm sorry!) but we can open this up to Mermaid Patty assisting us with this...would need more info like cost, etc. though....

Would it be possible to post this on the other website so I can keep track of the answers? I tried to do a poll, but it's just too much....

Ohsodisney- call Debbie at DCL dining to request the time change. I do not know if it will help but it surely couldn't hurt. Her # is 407-566-7411. I spoke with her to request a specific rotation, she was very pleasant and helpful. I requested the PLA rotation at first but she said that rotation had the 5:30 time slot, so I asked which was at 6:00 and she said LAP so I asked for that, we'll see, anything will be fine I am sure. We have early seating.

CG , wow , I went back a few pages and found your repley about the met at Whispering Canyon ,5:00 or 5:30 sounds great , would you like to eat with us at 6:20 ? The girls can get to know eachother .

Nope, the deck 7 area is AFT - the back end. And you really don't know it's there. The one on deck 8 is much smaller and no chairs, if I remember correctly.

Kids club?--Anyone plan to ask to move their child to a different age group? I will be asking to move Jared (7) up to the 8-9 group. I think he will enjoy the activities there so much more plus he and Meg will enjoy being together.

Ohsodisney- we have late dining also and we were panicking but decided that we would rather just leave it at late. We will see!

I can't remember-Michelle maybe- about the contacts. Hannah wears glasses-she has astygmatism(can't spell that now). She broke her glasses within 5 hours of being on the ship the last time! Now-she LOVES them and wouldn't trade them for the world. Here is a pic of her in her new glasses....most kids want their glasses to blend in with their face. Not Hannah.....

They are RED with pink, yellow and blue stripes on the sides!!!! She loves them!

Deck 7 sounds great for us especially since we are right near the deck 6 aft elevators...... Just in case you were all looking to where you should throw the beads!!! Funny- I am in the "bead" business

Gotta go to bed.....I know 8:42 on a Saturday, but I had the day from hell! Hannah sold Girl Scout cookies outside our Blockbuster in the freezing cold from 11-1-Katie had a birthday party at Libby Lou's wh ore House from 12-1:30 then we had a play date at 3-4 and a birthday party from 4- just now!!!! I am exhausted!!!! Night all!!

Jen- That picture doesn't exactly look like your daughter. The reason I think Meg would be Ok with contacts is in the almost 6 years she has had glasses she has never broken or lost a pair.

Michelle- we are also asking to move Hannah(7) to the 8-9 age group. Patty's daughter Skyler is 8 and it would be a shame if we couldn't have them together! I have heard that if you ask nicely they will accomodate your request on a trial basis- but most kids survive the trial period fine!

When I first saw your post the picture was the one of your husband ( i think) and your dog, the one you posted before. After I posted my comment the picture then came up as your daughter.

Oh cause it was HGP and the dog first"?!! Gotcha! Wow-you're quick! Hannah's doctor said that someday she will be a candidate for just 1 contact cause she has perfect vision in 1 eye. She is going to be devistated! She really takes very good care of them. She was SO upset that night onthe cruise cause she thought I was going to be mad.....Thankfully- they were repairable! I think contacts for sports etc will be fine cause she won't be taking them out and putting them back in anywhere but home!

I think I'll call her eye doctor this week and at least start to investigate it.

My kids are still up watching the Olympices. Got to go get them in bed.

I am sure you will ask very nicely- I wanted to say that initially so it didn't come off as me assuming you wouldn't....but too many words... I guess there are just too many people who feel entitled to things, that when I read the post somewhere back on the general thread, they had to stress the word "nicely" which to you and me seems like common sense!
