Julie you're not alone ,I don't get the Tag Fairy thing either even after reading CG's post.

Jen- Here's a pic of our dog with Meghan.

Cg- I'm glad I'm not the only one who does things like that! Have a great 1st birthday party.

BLBCB- Way to go. A size down is awesome.

CG- Great idea on the wine tasting party of our own! We will have to figure out where to have it....I will check with Patty to see if we can do it in one of our cabins some night before dinner.

Steve-you are pretty funny! The christmas lights comment made HGP and I laugh. :lmao:

We are in full emergency mode today cause we are expecting like 3 inches of snow. :scared1: Things are getting cancelled faster than snow can ever fall here in PA... Can you tell I don't like to get my hopes up for the snow.? I LOVE snow-I am a skier and so living in SE PA sucks in that respect! But the news channels go NUTS over the prospect of an inch of snow.

:wave2: Hi...my name is Jennifer.....an I am a shopoholic!!! :wave2:
Good News from Ann Taylor Shopaholics Annonymous...2 formal dresses-strapples little numbers(one black one red).....On sale!!!! Oh yeah, it's my birthday. :woohoo: I have so many stinkin' dresses that I KNOW I don't need 2 more, but gosh for that price-it is hard to resist! So I am going to marinate with them for awhile to see which one I absolutely can't live without!! My mom and Dad are cruising Celebrity in a few weeks and she got a beautiful new dress too! Bright pink with a white sash....so pretty. She's mad cause she couldn't stuff herself into the 2 I got on SALE!!!

Today is strange....Pat is home so I feel like it is happy hour already, but alas....I have to wait a few more hours! boo hoo! :drinking1

Chat with you all later! It's Bunco night here and they asked me to bring my jewelry to show while we are all playing! Should be fun!

PJ

I am all for the wine tasting one night, I would even offer to host a crown royal tasting party one night, my boy Pango the Pirate would I am sure have a Captain Morgan party, so that means we still need 4 nights to have beverages. A couple of suggestions, Bushwacker night, Konch Kooler night, and I am sure there are more.

PJ, tell HeadGear great minds think alike, I gave up at work and decided to come home also (hey I figure I can check the Boards both places). It is never to early for a cocktail, remember on the Cruise we got 2 for ones before noon up on deck nine.

QOTD:

What color would a Smurf turn if you choked it?

Tom pirate:

Stevemed,

By the way, the Portuguese made great pirates pirate: .

How about one more for the day then I am done.

QOTD:

Shouldn't it be just some things in Moderation?

Tom pirate:

Wow. A few posts to catch up on her. Suzie, thank for calling me out and frankly, PhillyJenn was a wee bit jealous that I got a private message...;>)

Tom, I cannot believe there was no proposed Key Lime Martini night in your post.

Anyway, I was trying to catch up and weed through these posts, but I been held captive by Happy Hour...really it is 5 o'clock somewhere....

Cheers.

Mr. A1A please I beg for forgiveness, the reason I did not put Key Lime Martini night is I drank so many I don't remember most of the night. Except for the Thong story of your wifes, priceless. :rotfl2:

I have to go to soccer practice with number 1 tonight so my 5 o'clock won't start until after 8, so enjoy a few for me. Nice job with the premature post, the more you do it you will get better at it and won't be so excited.

Tom pirate:

tom....a captain morgan night would be great with me. :thumbsup2

ok I have to go to work tonight so I will chat with you all in the am.Have a great night. :firefight

HGP - I'm with you man! I am so ready for a glass of wine! Work has been crazy this week, I have checked out! I work at home, so I can do that and no one knows!

I have attempted to catch up on the last few pages of posts, lets see:

I think that the wine tasting party is a great idea! I was planning to bring a few bottles anyway. also planning to bring some margarita mix. Anyone else looking forward to the martini, wine and beer tastings on board? I already have them marked on my schedule so I make sure to plan around them! :Pinkbounc

blbcb - great job with the weight loss. I have not been able to get the scale to move any more, so I am still sitting at 5 pounds down.

Of course, all of the alcohol I have been drinking is not helping! Last night I went to a bar/restaurant where my sister is working. She makes a great Cosmo! Last weekend we went to a black tie event. It began with a wine tasting, then open bar during an auction, dinner and then gambling. We had a wonderful time. I wore a dress that I was hoping to wear on the cruise, but I think not. It was a long black dress with a sparkly teal jacket. Every where I went I left sparkles! At the dining table, the blackjack table, - when I went to the restroom it looked like tinkerbell had been flushed down the toilet and all that was left was pixiedust! pixiedust:

(sorry - I was interrupted by a work call - how rude!)

michelle - going back to school, how exciting. I'm proud of you for jumping in - you will never regret it!

On the subject of tanning - I have not gone to tanning beds for years, but I probably will go a little in April to try to reduce the burning since we will be snorkeling at both St. Martin and St. Thomas.

OHJulie :wave2:

Man, oh, man! We had a great time today! Picked Tori up from school and headed over to Chuck E. Cheese's! There were only about 20 kids in the whole place! It was great! Tori understood the time limit we had, played her games, ate her lunch, got her prize and we left. No whining, no crying! Home to a nap, then DH treated us to dinner out! WOW~! That made my night - really didn't want to cook!

Tom, et al - Ed was really excited to hear about the wine thing! He said that he would bring his favorite Box O' Wine with him or Boones Farm! hee-hee-hee! :lmao: :lmao: I'm cracking up just typing that out! Can't keep a straight face to save my life!! No, I really think that sounds like a fun thing! Shall I do a poll at the other site and then we can "calendar" it if we want? Just a thought....and maybe we can do different cabins....but, oh, if we only had a nice big concierge type room that had a great big verandah....(insert my biggest Southern Belle sigh here).....

Suzie sounds like the party went well and you got Dinner out! Thats awesome! :thumbsup2:

Guess What! Our Cruise is PAID OFF !!!!!!

:cool1: :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: :woohoo:

Now lets hope on monday morning I get all of our reservations made with no problems!

Okay okay, we can take a hint! :)
We will be in one of the suites and from what I can tell, we have a Texas-size verandah. You are more than welcome to it. But I'm looking at the database from the other site, and it looks like there are over 50 adults, plus kids! I don't think we'll fit.

Since we have so many, will they let us just take over one of the lounges somewhere?

Please help someone !

Well DH came home today from NIST in Maryland . He kinda threw me a bombshell . Does anyone live or ever lived in or around MD or DC ? Apparently the lady who supervises the entire National Institute of Standards and Technolgy has planned for awhile now to have Barry take her job , that also includes the Colorado Complex too . I was so not prepared to hear this . I always wanted to move to a warmer climate but this is crazy . I looked at home prices down that way and if I took our house which is appraised at $200.000 it would be worth 2 million there , what the ? I do not want to live in a townhouse or condo , I am such a country girl . It is a big decision , we do have probally a year to think about it . I can see myself now cry like a big baby leaving my house which I love so much . Barry is getting the opportunity of a life time that I know would be wonderful for us in the long run but I am just not sure this is where I want to be .
If anyone lives that way and can give us some insight on cost of living , where good homes are , not condos , and what there is for the girls to do down there besides going into the city I would so so appreciate it .
Well I'm about ready for a shot and a beer right now and a sleep seditive LOL .

Well, it sounds like The Roses host the greet and meet, :grouphug: PartyPat brings the wine :drinking1 Pango Man is the doorman :worship: , CG brings her gift of gab :chat: suzie brings her :sunny: sense of humor, Stevemed brings his :firefight hat, PhillyJen brings her :Pinkbounc Rellas&Bells Mom & Dad bring the pirate: in all of us, OhsoDisney leave the :smokin: at home, and we all bring our glad to be on vacation mood :dancer: :rockband: :boat:
